While roaming in the villages of India, I saw animals like cows, bulls, buffaloes, etc. in very pathetic conditions. In a country where kindness and benevolence to all living beings are widely spoken, domestic animals are not treated well. They are kept in very dirty places and their food and drink arrangements are also not good.”
Indeed, our words, our thoughts have nothing to do with our actions. The cow race does not progress just by giving it to the cow as a mother and perhaps that is why the old cows reach the slaughterhouses. If we assess the services of railway animals, then they serve us in different ways by eating completely inedible to humans such as grass, straw, bran, straw, wheat stalks, leaves of trees, peels of fruits, etc.

Cow and buffalo make our body strong by giving milk like nectar. Bullocks and buffaloes are considered to be the backbone of agriculture, till, before the manufacture of tractors, the whole responsibility of plowing the fields and transportation of goods was on them.
The substitute of camel in the desert has not been found to date. Horses are plowed in aces even today, the utility of donkeys for washermen has remained for centuries. Cow, bull, buffalo, goat, etc. Animal dung is such good natural manure that it cannot be compared with any other manure.
Cow dung is also used in the worship of Hindus, villagers cover their courtyards with cow dung. Sheep are the only good sources of wool. The entire leather industry of our country runs on the strength of these animals. The complete availability of meat and eggs depends on domestic animals and birds.

Animal abuse is not a new problem. Animals have been treated badly for centuries. The history books show that the first companion of man became a dog because no doubt has been expressed about its loyalty to date. As humans started to settle down, they needed to do agriculture, so did the importance of animals.
The cow-caste was of great importance in Aryan culture, the more cows one had, the more prestigious and prosperous it was considered. The sages and sages also kept cows, the availability of grass was abundant in the forests. With time the needs of man expanded, then they started rearing animals like cows, buffalo, bull, goat, camel, horse, donkey, dog, etc.

Horses and elephants were more useful on the battlefields, so kings and emperors used to keep these animals in large numbers. Before the invention of mechanized vehicles, the horse was the fastest messenger. Whether it was the transportation of goods or human beings or domestic animals were the only means of this. Bullock carts are still useful in rural India.

Despite so many utilities, the oppression of animals does not stand the test of human intelligence. Domestic animals are forced to sit and stand in mud mixed with excreta. Animals driven in vehicles are often beaten so mercilessly as if they were lifeless objects.

A lot of work is taken from animals, but in the name of food, a little dry grass is put in front of them. They are kept in the open even in adverse weather. In the case of sick animals and birds, our neglect and pity reach the climax. The devotees of cow service break their fast and harm the animals in various ways.

Till two decades ago, the quantity of milk production in our country in per capita terms was very low because our cattle were weak, their breeds were weak. With the influence of science, the breeds of animals were improved, then the production of milk could increase to some extent, which was named White Revolution.

Today, the rearing of milch and other domestic animals is done in a better way than before. Sick animals are being treated with modern scientific methods. This is the reason that the production of food items like milk, curd, butter, ghee, meat, egg, etc. has increased manifold. But the problem of oppression of domestic animals remains in many forms even today.

If we talk about wild animals, then here also the evidence of human ignorance and kindness is found. Due to the limited area of forests and indiscriminate hunting of wild animals, many of their species are on the verge of extinction. Given the seriousness of the situation, hunting wild animals were banned and many sanctuaries were created to protect the endangered animals.

As a result of the increase in population, there was a need for more cultivable land, so the forests were cleared. As a result, the natural habitat of wild animals got destroyed. These beautiful creatures of nature are an important part of our environment, but due to human cruelty and short-sightedness, it has become difficult for wild animals and water birds to live.

Madari captures bears and monkeys and makes them dance all the time, tortured in many ways to teach them certain habits. Wild animals are kept in bad condition away from their natural habitat in sluices and zoos. The snake charmers imprison the snakes and force them to lead a torturous life. Although all such acts are strictly prohibited in the eyes of law, in practice this type of animal abuse is still happening.

There are many aspects to the oppression of animals and birds. When we keep a parrot in our cage, it is an inhuman act. Like us, animals and birds also love their freedom. Animals and birds make the soil fertile by maintaining the food chain of the earth, while our environment also remains balanced. Therefore, harassing animals in any way should be prohibited.
