EcoTrain QOTW #7.8: What Aren't People Talking Enough About?

The frailty of this world makes certain topics trend, while others are giving little attention despite their relevance. Coronavirus virus was the talk of the world when it became a threat to a wider population, the same goes for other threatening illnesses. But people had forgotten to look at the little foxes that grow up to become a threat to families. The aspect of child abuse and child upbringing is being neglected by many parents who're too busy in pursuit of wealth and self-happiness. One thing parents forget too easily is that children are the future, and whatever they learn or are exposed to in childhood affects the future.

Michael Jackson's song "We Are The world" (?) portrays how children are being neglected despite their stand as agents of change in the world we live in. In the Northern part of Nigeria, parents give birth to children above the capacity they can raise, sometimes these children are seen roaming around the streets learning life the hard way, they grow up with this anger and turn up to be a threat to people in the future. The awareness targeted on neglecting children is not been talked about enough even though the world's future is resting on them.

Society has changed its focus on trends like the disease that's ravaging the world, the latest fashion in the stores, the most profitable business, the news headlines, sports, and rumors of war, but have failed to discuss children's upbringing. The world seems children upbringing as an individual thing, or nature's duty to bring them up through experience, but failed to realize it's the bad upbringing and child early programming that has raised malicious people among us, it's this shift in attention that has made the world full of envy, and wickedness. Until the talk of the world is thrift to children, we will keep having challenges with the future. What we failed to tame, looses and cause harm.

Let's shift our attention to the children we are raising, we've not talked much about them. Around us are children facing different kinds of abuse, until the subject about them is talked about enough, the future is still open to dangers. It shouldn't be the sports talk, it shouldn't be the business talk, it shouldn't be the political subjects, but they talk about the future we are raising individually in our houses. The talk hasn't been enough, there is more we can do to end children abuse and make the world/future a better place.
