Question Of The Week Season 9.1 . What Does Spirituality Mean To Me?

Within each of us is a source of energy that is almost impossible to describe in words. Yet this source is there! It triggers our breathing, controls our growth, it is at the very origin of life. You can call it God, Source or Cosmic Energy.

Each culture has its own language of trying to provide access to the source, which has led to practices that can be found over the centuries, on all continents, they are the basis of religions. What Buddha, Jesus, or Muhammad tried to translate is probably the exact same thing since all human beings are built on the same principle, but they have done it in different words and in different languages.

The confusion that arises from interpreting this attempted explanation, however, can dissolve in love, trust, grace, and many spiritual Masters give us directions to reconnect. I would quote Krisnamurti, Eckart Tollé, Gangaji, Mooji, Byron Katie, Osho and Deepack Chopra, Morihei Ueshiba, Taisen Deshimaru ...

All of their works contain the same message: spirituality is inaccessible to mental understanding. Only opening the heart can help us in this area.

This is why Aïkido is proposing a practice based on physical exercises.
