Nice !
one of my favorite cover crops, for obvious reasons is strawberry. they are very easy to multiply and very hardy in our local conditions. yesterday I planted one of them under each one of the Pecan trees planted last week, to help shade the base of the trees, help retain humidity, protect from wind and rodents. the nice extra is you suddenly find a red surprise waiting for you as you walk by.
these are planted along side Broad beans that I always saw when I plant trees in the soil to help them with a good source of Nitrogen to get them going strong from the first moment.
already mentally preparing for the Olive harvest and making a strategic plan for it. A neighbor who has no Olives of her own, is eager to help and hopefully my son will be over as well !
