Grow Your Own I "Coconut Planting"

Greetings to all Hive friends! Here I am again sharing a post of my fruitful activity today.

Last Sunday, my husband took some coconut fruits with leaves from our only coconut tree. Since we had to attend a very special event in our chapel, we just soak the coconuts into the water, since last Monday I reported to school and there was also a very heavy rain that lasted yesterday, we then decided to plant the coconuts this afternoon. Together with my son who happily does our every time we have planting activity at home.

We actually planted 3 coconuts today. My husband first prepared the needed gardening tools we have including the water that we are going to use right after. We are also thankful that we live here and we have good soil so every time we planted different kinds of plants, green vegetables or fruits, we really could harvest all of what we have planted and even shared some to our neighbors if we could get abundantly.
The three of us finished in less than 30 minutes. I felt so glad I am able to impart this to my son as he is really eager to do this.

With varieties of plant we planted, we could give a huge contribution to our environment as this gives a clean breath of fresh air. Aside from what we could later get on the time we harvested this.

This is what I always tell to my students and to my children as well. I also supported to this kind of activity whenever we have this in school or to the youth's project. With our own little way, even we are at just at home, we still could take part and give back to nature.

Truly,
