What is the Manipulation Station Community?
Its a new community for all of us, for all creative people on the Hive Blockchain to share their work of photo with art manipulation.
So what is "photo manipulation"?
Photo manipulation involves transforming or altering a photograph using various methods and techniques to achieve desired results. I like to make a new story of the picture for the contest.
There are countless pieces of software or apps available to perform your manipulation with.
The most popular being Adobe Photoshop, but like the contest blog also said Gimp. Whatever software you use, the outcome is only as good as the creative process that you use when making your piece of art. I use apps and I draw. And for this first edition I made a few manipulations. I had fun and I hope you like them.

This is made with swirl magic app and its so nice for the wash dryer picture later.
This is during the spinning and needed for the final result.
Here our little friend, he got into the wash dryer and got spinned around. The picture is by pure png and free, I used the a filter to spin and afterwards blur the photo.

The lost at sea one and the
I took the water slide from the mall ones
Are made with : CutOutBackground App
These manipulations made with cutoutbackground app and put on a free gallery background.
This last one is made with app Uynimagic and give a nice sweet effect, this one is also the one thats used in the black Memematic earlier in the blog.
The contest will be a weekly Photo Manipulation Contest, where they supply at least one image that must be used to create a final image. All other images you use will be up to you to find and use, but you need to use the ones that we provide.
You will need to make sure that you source all images used in your creative process. This is a MUST when it comes to using this community. I cannot stress this enough. I (@derangedvisions), will have commercial licenses for the images that they provide, so make sure that the images that you choose are able to be used by you and that you source them correctly.

So this image of this goofy dog is the one that you must use for creating your masterpiece. You can cut this dog out and put him on the moon with a space helmet on if you wanted to. You could put him over some crazy psychedelic background and have him high on shrooms.
The possibilities are pretty much endless. The main thing is to have fun when creating this piece of art and to make it look good. We will be judging the final product off of quality, so putting in a bit of extra effort will pay out in the end.
Prize Pool
For the first contest there is 100 Hive to be split between the top 3 winners. 50 Hive for 1st place. 30 Hive for 2nd Place. 20 Hive for 3rd place.
They will also be curating entries, but just because you enter the contest doesn't guarantee curation. Curation depends on effort and quality and will be rewarded as such, so take you chance on these tow possibilities in this fun contest.
Showing screenshots of your creative process and explaining what you are doing is highly encouraged. We are hoping that we can all learn a few things from each other here in the process of these contests and posts made to the community.
Rules Recap
✅ You must use the image or images provided.
✅ You must source ALL images used.
✅ Entries must be made to the Manipulation Station Community.
✅ One entry post per week, but you may include multiple final images in that post.
✅ Comment on the weekly contest announcement post with your post url and a photo of your entry or entries.
The contest will run for one week and then entries will be closed once the contest post pays out so that @derangedvisions, @acidyo and @hiddenblade can judge the entries.
That is about it for the rules. Feel free to post any other form of photo or art manipulation into this community. We will be curating non contest posts as well, but they need to fit the idea of this community. So that means we will not be curating your posts about flowers or some other irrelevant nonsense. Posting irrelevant posts to this community will get your muted, which means that your entries will not show up or be valid.
