If you are in Nigeria, there will surely come a time when you will have to raise important questions about our men in uniform and their contribution to the security of lives and properties in the country.
Every profession has expectations that come with it and it's only right for the Police (especially) to take their job seriously. Every wrong move they make has a chance of putting lives and properties at risk.
Considering the importance of their role, you would expect them to stick to the prudential guideline of the profession, but it's sad to see that in recent times, these men in uniform have become part of the issues we are facing.
They have become like dry grass waiting for a spark. There is so much tension out there because of Police oppression, brutality and a long list of their corrupt practices. Due to these inconveniences, the citizens are beginning to lose any little hope they ever had in the Police Force.
I genuinely don't have the strength or inspiration to dig deeper into the loads of flaws we have in our Police Force, but I like to believe there are Policemen out there that does the job well to a tee. These set of people are the true heroes.
