My HPUD
I just made a 100 Hive Power up a few moments ago. It is not something that amazing, but I am happy I could take part in today Hive Power up Day (HPUD). It's not about powering up the biggest we can by breaking our piggy bank saving or tearing our wallet apart, but it is more about consistency in building up our Hive Power (HP).
So by taking this part, I hope I could encourage some people here on HIVE BLOCKCHAIN to do the same too. The higher Hive Power (HP) we have, the stronger our influence on the blockchain will be... We will curate higher, support proposal and witness better. If you are planning or have some plan to stay long in this blockchain, Powering Up your Hive Power becomes something that mandatory you do, either regularly or occasionally in good amount of HIVE.
Does Having Higher HP give me advantage?
I have been very busy recently, I could not get some time to make some posts, even I haven't got any time to play splinterlands for a week... That's why you could see I haven't taken any participation in Splinterlands Battlemage Secret last week.
The answer is simple, yes it does. I know well I have no time to do some blogging, then I have two options here. The first one is joining some trail votes, which means I will vote some posts whenever someone I follow votes some posts. The second one is HP delegation.
The path I choose is HP Delegation.
As you can see above, right after I did the power up, I send 2.000 Hive Power to Leo.Voter (I take out the @ tagging here) right away. That's my HP delegation to INLEO community, I see they are very active recently and I hope my small 2.000 HP contribution there could help them in building their community here, starting by onboarding more people into HIVE Blockchain.
There I leave 83 Hive Power just incase if I play Rising Star, Terracore or Splinterlands, I would not run out of RC (resource credits), our GAS FEE here on HIVE. This is not something I would recommend to anyone that active on HIVE, however It's ok if you are too busy and too full to know what to do next. Better having your resources working for someone else, rather they are left unused unproductive for some days.
Anyway I have no plan to let this condition to stay for a long time. I hope soon I could get some more reasonable workload so I have more spare time in writings or playing games on HIVE. When that time comes again, I will take back some of my Hive Power (HP) delegation so I could send more rewards to people that I like their writings.
