Fast X

I watched Fast X. For those who haven't seen it, don't worry; there won't be any spoilers (the cars in the movie didn't reveal any either, so there certainly weren't any – if you get the joke, you get a heart). For those who have seen it, I would appreciate it if you could share your opinion about the film in the comments.

Firstly, let me say that I have been a fan of the franchise since the very first Fast movie, so the evolution of the films to what they are now has disappointed me. I would suggest that if you're a fan, watch it as a simple movie to pass the time; don't try to figure out the chronology or the progression of the story, as there simply isn't one.

Throughout the two hours (and a bit), we witnessed a lot of gunplay, the laws of physics (and logic) being thrown out the window, and numerous references to the concept of FAMILY.

If you're up for a fun drinking game, watch the movie and take a shot every time you hear the word "family" – within the first 10 minutes, you'll be knocked out.

On the positive side, the visual effects were impressive (a significant amount of money was invested, and it shows), the production was great, and there were some fan service moments. I was pleasantly surprised by Jason Momoa's portrayal as the villain, who approached his role with the seriousness the film deserves (which is to say, none). Also, don't expect to see any fights; there aren't any.

In general, the film was interesting visually; it had its moments, but to spend about 2 hours at home, it is a decent film.

P.S.: Thankfully, Fast X was better than Fast and Furious 9 (the worst in the series, in my opinion).
