Hot in summer, cold and wet in winter the worse weather you can imagine, not far form a river which is used to flood the rice fields in springtime, this little village is built on one lonely small road which takes you to what in the past was -- under the second world war -- a border very desired by both parts.

To keep the rice ( strategical for the army to supply troupes with real food, no shipping no cost a huge advantage on the enemy) So, the inhabitants used to store the rice in glass-bottles and buried the harvest in the fields. Impossible to find it unless you know where to use your shovel.

This "trick" was used during the century to keep the rice always perfect. They used to sell the rice in bottle, which was the best one, the most expensive one, and the rice in a bag, which was the "second-choice" cheaper.
So, this documentary has been filmed with a "crappy" phone, is from my personal collection.
Now that i can finally publish it on a real free and indipendent platform... here i am..
