Viele von euch waren heute zur Wahl und manche haben sogar aktiv als Wahlhelfer am heutigen Wahlsonntag geholfen und damit einen Beitrag zur Demokratie geleistet.
Auch ich bin heute Morgen um 7.30 Uhr zum Wahllokal gefahren da ich zum stellvertetenden Wahlvorstand in unserem Stimmbezirk berufen wurde. Hierfür bekommt man ein sogenanntes Erfrischungsgeld in Höhe von € 40,00 ausbezahlt. Aber dafür mache ich es nicht.
Vor ein paar Jahren hat mich ein guter Bekannter gefagt, ob ich mich als Wahlhelfer zur Verfügung stellen würde und seitdem werde ich regelmäßig berufen. Diesen Beitrag bin ich gerne bereit zu leisten, auch wenn viele dieses nicht verstehen.
Heute habe ich die Frühschicht übernommen und wurde um 13 Uhr abgelöst. Zum Auszählen der Stimmen war ich jedoch wieder vor Ort im Wahllokal. Hierbei musste ich/wir dann leider traurig mit ansehen, dass der Stapel mit den AFD-Stimmen immer größer wurde. Am Ende waren es ca. 16% der Stimmen. Verstehen tue ich es nicht.
Die AFD wird vom Verfassungsschutz als Verdachtsfall, also als vermutlich verfassungsfeindliche Partei, eingestuft.
Dazu kommen Spionageaffären, Korruptionsvorwürfe und ein Aufrtittsverbot des AFD-Spitzenkandidaten. Nach dessen Aussagen zur SS hat sogar die rechte Fraktion im EU-Parlament die Zusammenarbeit mit der AFD beendet.
Am Dienstag war ich zur Verlegung einer Stolperschwelle in Bedburg-Hau. Bestimmt jeder von euch ist in seinem Leben schon einmal über einen Stolperstein oder eine Stolperschwelle "gestolpert" und kennt dessen Bedeutung. Sie erinnern an den Mord vieler Juden oder Personen die nicht der nationalsozialistischen Rasenlehre entsprachen.
Die Stolperschwelle erinnert an über 2.500 Patientin und Patientinnen die aus der damaligen Provinzial-Heil- und Pflegeanstalt deportiert und ermordet wurden. Körperlich oder geistig behinderte Menschen die als nicht "Lebenswert" galten weil sie anders waren.
Auch wenn die "Volksparteien" sicherlich kein gutes Bild abgeben, kommt es für mich nicht in Frage eine Partei zu wählen, die offen rechtsradikal ist. Dann setze ich mein Kreuz lieber bei den Piraten, der Tierschutzpartei oder letztlich bei den .......
Ich weiß, der Spruch ist mittlerweile etwas abgedroschen aber für mich gilt er dennoch:
