Bei diesen Aktionen geht es beiden Lagern darum, den jeweiligen Kandidaten besonders bodenständig dazustellen, als "einer von uns", der die Interessen der Mittelschicht und nicht des woken Establishments vertritt.

In these campaigns, both camps aim to portray the respective candidate as particularly down-to-earth, as “one of us” who represents the interests of the middle class and not the woke establishment.
One in eight Americans has already worked for McDonald's. For example, as a holiday job to earn some extra cash. Many can identify with that.

That would be an unattainable dream for many in this day and age, to save the money for a home such a short time as a single mom is impossible. That is the real problem. Fiat money and inflation crisis. Not whether Kamala worked at McDonald's or not.
