unglaublich wie sehr die Zeit rennt. Ein neues Quartal ist vorbei und damit kommt für Euch der dritte Post zum Ertrag meines Balkonkraftwerks.

Wie lief das dritte Quartal
Wettertechnisch hatten wir im dritten Quartal Glück und der verloren geglaubte Sommer kam nochmal ordentlich zurück.
Durch die vielen Sonnenstunden konnte mein Balkonkraftwerk folgende Werte erreichen:
- September 66.58 kW
- August 40.60 kW
- July 49.90 kW
Damit wurden in diesem Quartal insgesamt 157,08 kW produziert. Bei meinem aktuellen Strompreis von 0,30 je kWh bedeutet dies eine Ersparnis von 47,12 €.
Das klingt doch nicht schlecht oder?
Leider kann ich persönlich hier nur mit einem "jaein" antworten. Bereits in einem anderen Beitrag habe ich darüber berichtet, dass der Birnbaum vor dem Balkonkraftwerk dieses Jahr einen ordentlichen Schuss gemacht hat. Dadurch war der Schattenwurf viel größer als noch im April und Mai.
Diesen Fehler habe ich erst im September korrigiert, was man an dem Ertragssprung zwischen August und September deutlich erkennen kann. Durch die späte Korrektur habe ich hier bestimmt 100 kW Ertrag verloren, die sich deutlich positiv auf meine Rechnung ausgewirkt hätten.
Fazit
Für das Jahr hatte ich mir ein Ziel von mindestens 400 kW Stromerzeugung gesetzt. Nach dem dritten Quartal stehe ich aktuell bei ca 360 kW. Sofern der November und Dezember noch ein paar Sonnenstunden für uns bereithalten, sollte ich mein Ziel also locker erreichen können.
Für das nächste Jahr werde ich mir aufgrund der deutlich verbesserten Positionierung des Kraftwerks ein höheres Ziel setzen.
Nach 9 Monaten kann ich aber bereits sagen, dass sich die Anschaffung für mich gelohnt hat. Wer aktuell überlegt, sich ebenfalls ein Balkonkraftwerk anzuschaffen, hat sogar eine noch bessere Ausgangssituation als ich. Durch den Preissturz gibt es mein Balkonkraftwerk aktuell 200 € günstiger. Damit wird der Breakeven noch früher erreicht als bei meinem Kaufpreis.

How was the third quarter
Weather-wise we were lucky in the third quarter and the lost summer came back again properly.
Due to the many hours of sunshine my balcony power plant could reach the following values:
- September 66.58 kW
- August 40.60 kW
- July 49.90 kW
Thus in this quarter altogether 157.08 kW were produced. With my current electricity price of 0,30 per kWh this means a saving of 47,12 €.
That doesn't sound bad, does it?
Unfortunately, I personally can only answer with a "yes no" here. Already in another post I reported that the pear tree in front of the balcony power plant made a decent shot this year. As a result, the shade cast was much greater than it was in April and May.
I didn't correct this mistake until September, which you can clearly see in the jump in yield between August and September. Due to the late correction I have lost here certainly 100 kW yield, which would have had a clearly positive effect on my calculation.
Conclusion
For the year I had set myself a goal of at least 400 kW power generation. After the third quarter I am currently at about 360 kW. If November and December have a few more hours of sunshine in store for us, I should be able to easily reach my goal.
For the next year, I will set a higher target due to the significantly improved positioning of the power plant.
After 9 months, however, I can already say that the purchase was worth it for me. Anyone who is currently considering buying a balcony power plant has an even better starting position than I do. Due to the price drop, my balcony power plant is currently 200 € cheaper. Thus the Breakeven is reached still earlier than with my purchase price.
