Styria & pumpkin seed oil - simply inseparable
What would be Styria without pumpkin seed oil? Unimaginable for me 😀
I love this oil and in my kitchen it may not be missing of course! Salad without pumpkin seed oil.... that's with me rather rare. Yes, with tomatoes and Mozarella there is already a good olive oil also very good, or however, what I also like: a really good hemp oil on it.
High-quality oils are important for me and fortunately we have a good selection in Austria. Of course, the nicest thing is, when you can get the products right from a farmer or at the farmers' market nearby. That is really fine.
We already know the farm of the Huber family in southeastern Styria very well. I love their pumpkin seed oil, their hemp oil, but also the hemp protein I have in use. As you can see on the homepage, they still have several products. And I will try next the pumpkin seed protein 😋

Mostly once a year they have a party on the farm and we are there with our music band "Blue Gecko". Recently we played here and it was again a wonderful party.
In the summer we visited the family and @richie8012 has made beautiful drone films of the farm, the fields and the surroundings. Meanwhile I photographed a bit and then we made a short video with country music. There are also horses on the farm and so we supported the western country flair with the music. Steiermark & Kürbiskernöl – einfach untrennbar
Was wäre die Steiermark ohne Kürbiskernöl? Unvorstellbar für mich 😀
Ich liebe dieses Öl und in meiner Küche darf es natürlich nicht fehlen! Salat ohne Kürbiskernöl… das gibt’s bei mir eher selten. Ja, bei Tomaten mit Mozarella da ist ein gutes Olivenöl auch sehr gut, oder aber, was ich noch lieber hab: ein richtig gutes Hanföl drauf.
Qualitativ hochwertige Öle sind mir schon wichtig und da haben wir in Österreich glücklicherweise eine gute Auswahl. Am Schönsten ist es natürlich, wenn man sich die Produkte gleich ab Hof holen kann oder am Bauernmarkt in der Nähe. Das ist wirklich fein.
Den Hof von der Fam. Huber in der Südost-Steiermark kennen wir schon sehr gut. Ich liebe ihr Kürbiskernöl, ihr Hanföl, aber auch das Hanfprotein hab ich in Verwendung. Wie man auf der Homepage sehen kann, haben sie noch mehrere Produkte. D.h. für mich, als nächstes ist wohl das Kürbiskernprotein dran 😋

Meist 1x im Jahr wird hier gefeiert und wir sind mit unserem Gitarren-Duo „Blue Gecko“ mit dabei. Vor kurzem haben wir hier gespielt, und es war wieder ein wunderschönes Fest.
Im Sommer waren wir hier zu Besuch und @richie8012 hat vom Hof, von den Feldern und von der Umgebung schöne Drohnenfilme gemacht. Ich hab inzwischen fotografiert und so haben wir dann ein kurzes Video mit eigener Countrymusik gemacht. Am Hof gibt’s auch Pferde und so haben wir das Western-Country-Flair durch die Musik unterstützt.
