Barranco es uno de los distritos más artísticos y bohemios de todo Lima, es un lugar lleno de arte por donde lo mires, allí hacen vida muchos colectivos de muralistas, músicos, poetas y más, la verdad es que el arte está en el aire.
Es un lugar hermoso en donde siempre hay algo para hacer, a su alrededor hay muchos bares, museos, parques e infinidad de sitios para visitar y pasarlo bien.
Yo tuve la gran dicha de vivir allí un poco más de un año y la verdad es que es uno de los sitios que más me gusta de Lima, durante mi estadía en este distrito el cual se ubica al sur de la capital y limita por una parte con las aguas del Océano Pacifico. Llamo mucho mi atención sus grafitis y sus murales, los cuales llenaban de colores las calles de este lugar y le brindan una personalidad única a la zona.
Una de esas tardes domingueras decidí ir a pasear y recorrer parte del distrito con mi familia con la intención de poder tomar algunas imágenes y podérselas mostrar ya hace un tiempo que las grabe, las tenía guardadas en mi disco duro sin compartir alas con nadie, hasta que llego el momento indicado y decidí editar este corto video para ustedes con una pequeña muestra de algunos de sus murales y sus grafitis porque la verdad hay muchísimos y todos me gustaba, pero solo pude capturar en video estos que les traigo haciendo mi recorrido, con la ayuda de Ingrid y Sebastián en la cámara. Espero que lo disfruten tanto como yo disfrute hacerlo.
Journey through Graffiti and Murals.
Barranco is one of the most artistic and bohemian districts in all of Lima. It is a place full of art wherever you look, with many collectives of muralists, musicians, poets, and more making their lives there. The truth is that art is in the air.
It is a beautiful place where there is always something to do, surrounded by many bars, museums, parks, and countless places to visit and have a good time.
I had the great fortune to live there for a little over a year, and it is truly one of my favorite places in Lima. During my stay in this district, which is located to the south of the capital and borders the waters of the Pacific Ocean, I was very drawn to its graffiti and murals, which filled the streets of this place with color and gave it a unique personality.
One of those Sunday afternoons, I decided to go for a walk and explore part of the district with my family, intending to take some pictures and be able to show them to you. I had recorded them some time ago, kept them on my hard drive without sharing them with anyone, until the right moment arrived and I decided to edit this short video for you, with a small sample of some of its murals and graffiti, because the truth is there are so many and I liked them all, but I could only capture these in the video while I was exploring, with the help of Ingrid and Sebastián behind the camera. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
