What happened to the hunger strikes on O'Connell Street?

For 30 days, hunger strikers camped out on O'Connell Street to highlight the issue of homelessness. One day a man with a blonde beard started attacking the hunger strikers. This resulted in the police arresting Paul Lennon, the leader of the hunger strikers.

The police used this as an excuse to clear up their belongings like they were trash. Now there is a metal fence around that area to stop Irish people from protesting against the government.

One of the hunger strikers called Linda has recently spoken at a free speech rally and is continuing her hunger strike at home. We have not heard from Paul in a few days. He is no longer held by the police and is with his family.
