El día de hoy les traigo escenas de mi interpretación en el tema Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' por Michael Jackson. Esta canción es una de mis favoritas para bailar, es como que me trasmite una especie de adrenalina y furia jeje.
El video se basa en escenas, ya que originalmente la idea de esta grabación era para un ensayo personal pero al final me gustaron los resultados del baile, así que quise dejarlo para una publicación más seria. Mejorándolo un poco con edición para hacerlo más presentable.
Parte de este video también fue un gran logro para mí ya que logré hacer un paso de baile muy difícil de Michael Jackson, se trata del paso que lleva el nombre James Brown Shuffle, y es un paso de baile donde los pies tienen que moverse a una velocidad extremadamente rápida y debe su nombre a su creador, James Brown, también conocido como ”el rey del funk” o ”el padrino del soul”. Este señor fue una gran inspiración para Michael Jackson, tanto así que adoptó uno de sus pasos más memorables, como también lo tomó de inspiración a la hora de crear sus propios movimientos.
El James Brown Shuffle tiene una complejidad muy grande y es uno de los pasos más difíciles de Michael Jackson, por este motivo es un logro para mi poder hacerlo. Quizás con el tiempo lo siga perfeccionando pero por ahora me siento bien con los resultados.
Today I bring you scenes of my interpretation of the song Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' by Michael Jackson. This song is one of my favorite songs to dance to, it kind of gives me a kind of adrenaline and fury hehe.
The video is based on scenes, as originally the idea of this recording was for a personal rehearsal but in the end I liked the results of the dance, so I wanted to leave it for a more serious publication. Improving it a bit with editing to make it more presentable.
Part of this video was also a great achievement for me as I managed to do a very difficult Michael Jackson dance step, it is the step named James Brown Shuffle, and it is a dance step where the feet have to move at an extremely fast speed and it owes its name to its creator, James Brown, also known as ”the king of funk” or ”the godfather of soul”. This gentleman was a great inspiration for Michael Jackson, so much so that he adopted one of his most memorable steps, as he also took it as inspiration when creating his own movements.
The James Brown Shuffle has a great complexity and is one of the most difficult steps of Michael Jackson, for this reason it is an achievement for me to be able to do it. Perhaps over time I will continue to perfect it but for now I feel good with the results.
