$1 cake with 3 ingredients

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well! Today, I will share the recipe for a quick and easy-to-prepare cake which is also very reasonable to pocket. The best part is you don't need to have any special baking skills to prepare this cake and no special ingredient is used. Thus, no advance preparations are required. This cake is prepared with ONLY 3 INGREDIENTS that can be easily found in any household kitchen and is cooked without any oven/microwave.

Let's quickly go with the ingredients list:

Ingredients;

350g of biscuits
1 Eno sachet
Milk as required (approx. 300ml at room temperature)

Other material required:
Saucepan
Iron plate
Baking paper
Oil for greasing

Let's start with the recipe now:
  1. In a mixer jar, crush and put the biscuits of your choice. It is preferable to use chocolate-based biscuits (Bourbon, Dark Fantasy, Hide and Seek). You may combine these with Marie or any other biscuits available at home. In fact, it is best to use leftover/crumbled biscuits that are generally found at the bottom of biscuit packs and is wasted at times (Do not use any salted biscuits for this recipe).

2.Grind the biscuits to form a fine powder.

3.Put this powder in a big bowl and add milk (at room temperature) slowly in batches to adjust consistency. Combine these with a whisker. Keep aside 2-3 tbsp of this batter which will be used at last to layer the cake.

4.Add milk until the batter is of pouring consistency but make sure it is not of running flowing consistency.

5.Now, the last step is to add one sachet of Eno (6gm) and mix it well in one direction and the cake batter is ready.

6.Lets prepare the saucepan in which we are going to bake the cake. Take any saucepan (preferably with a thick bottom) and grease the bottom and sides with some oil.

7.After greasing the pan, line it up with baking paper so that the cake can be easily de moulded.

8.Pour the cake batter into the pan and tap it 3-4 times to release any air bubbles. The cake is ready to be baked.

9.Take an iron plate and put it over the gas stove at low flame. Now place the pan with cake batter over it and cover it with a plate.

10.After 25 minutes, check if the cake is properly cooked or not with the help of a knife/ skewer. Insert a knife/ skewer in the centre of the cake and if it comes clean, then the cake is properly cooked. If not, then let it cook for another few minutes and check in between.

11.Once the cake is ready, allow it to come to room temperature. Invert the pan and tap it to de-mould cake on a plate carefully and remove the baking paper.

12.Pour the cake batter that we kept aside over the cake and spread evenly. You can also melt some chocolate and make a chocolate ganache to layer the cake.

13.Decorate the cake as per your choice. I have added fresh mangoes as these are readily available and some crumbled biscuits.
