Welcome to my blog, today on the menu is a special dish made of veggies full of nutrients and health.
Mix veg - Potato, Cottage Cheese and Capsicum!!
This is the best option when kids are adamant to eat something different and you want to keep them healthy. Best to be served as dinner option as this is light and healthy. This is also very simple to make, the ingredients can be found in any domestic kitchen. I will tell you the whole recipe in detail, let us start with the ingredients now.
Ingredients :
- Roughly chopped potato - 3.
- Sliced Onions - 2.
- Roughly sliced Capsicum -2.
- Cottage Cheese - 200 gms.
- Salt to Taste.
- Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp.
- Turmeric Powder 1 tbsp.
Firstly, take an open vessel and add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
Now add chopped Onions and Capsicum to fry.
Once the veggies are half cooked put these in a plate to rest.
Now in the same vessel add potato.
Also add Salt to it, Salt will help potatoes to cook fast and the moisture will make the potatoes mushy.
After 5 minutes, add the veggies kept aside.
Add Red Chilli powder and Turmeric powder to the dish.
Now Stir the mix and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Slice the cottage cheese into cubes.
After 5 minutes add cottage cheese to the mix.
Now stir the veggies delicately so that the cottage cheese should not break.
Looks done. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes and it will be ready to serve!!
And the Delicious Mix-veg is ready to serve!!
Best served with Indian Style Chapati.
