¡Hola chicos! Espero que estén muy bien. Este post está bastante entretenido porque tengo muchas nuevas experiencias con las comidas y quiero compartirlas con ustedes.
Hi guys! I hope you are doing great. This post is quite entertaining because I have a lot of new experiences with meals and I want to share them with you.
Al llegar a la casa de la cumpleañera nos recibieron con mucho cariño y aprovechamos para entregrale un regalito de parte de mi novio (su sobrino) y yo.
When we arrived at the birthday girl's house we were warmly welcomed and we took the opportunity to give her a little present from my boyfriend (her nephew) and me.
Luego de dar las felicitaciones y los regalos nos enseñaron muy orgullosos sus creaciones, habían preparados pasapalos casi gourmet para todos nosotros y hechos por ellos mismos.
After giving congratulations and gifts they proudly showed us their creations, they had prepared almost gourmet pastries for all of us and made by themselves.
Primero me encontré con unos pancitos tostados con una crema de ajo con unos tomates de arbol cortaditos con unos trocitos de salami y brotes de soja y también tenía unas aceituna moradas.
First I found some toasted bread with a garlic cream and some chopped tree tomatoes with a few pieces of salami and bean sprouts and I also had some purple olives.
Luego me encontré unos tomates de arbol con una salsa y aparentemente tenían ajo y semillas de alguna otra cosa, en este mismo plato había aceitunas y olivas, por último tenía unos pancitos para compañar.
Then I found some tree tomatoes with a sauce and apparently they had garlic and seeds of something else, on this same plate there were olives and olives, finally I had some bread to go with it.
Luego me encontré otro plato para picar bien decorado y todo hecho por los anfitriones. Este plato tenía uvas verdes y moradas, queso parmesano y queso amarillo, salami y jamón.
Then I found another plate to nibble on, well decorated and all made by the hosts. This plate had green and purple grapes, parmesan and yellow cheese, salami and ham.
Había también unas mini pizzas, tequeños, pasteles y empanaditas de fiesta.

Unos invitados amigos trajeron una torta de piña hecha por ellos mismo y estaba requetelinda. Sus piñas estaban perfectamente colocadas y acarameladas, además el toque de color de las cerezas rojas le quedó perfecto.
Some friends of mine brought a pineapple cake they had made themselves and it was so delicious. Their pineapples were perfectly placed and caramelized, plus the touch of color from the red cherries was perfect.
Algo sorprendente para mí fue encontrarme con una presentación de papitas diferentes, estas se llaman "Lairen" y aparentemente no son algo muy común, estas estaban bastante buenas y me recordaban bastante a las papitas colombianas que son sabrosas. La textura por fuera era algo rara parecían peluditas y tenían varios palitos.
Something surprising for me was to find a different presentation of chips, these are called "Lairen" and apparently they are not something very common, these were quite good and reminded me of the Colombian chips that are tasty. The texture on the outside was a little weird, they looked like hairy and had several sticks.
El compartir fue bastante agradable, me gustó el ambiente y el trato especial que nos dieron a todos. La comida estaba riquísima especialmente disfruté muchísimo la decoración y el deleite de mirar lo bien organizado que estaba todo. En cuanto a sabor me encantaron las uvas, las empanaditas y pasteles, las mini pizzas.
The sharing was very pleasant, I liked the atmosphere and the special treatment we all received. The food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the decoration and the delight of looking at how well organized everything was. In terms of taste I loved the grapes, the pies and pastries, the mini pizzas.
Mientran los demás asistentes de la reunióm bebían Old Pard yo bebía mi deliciosa agua. Nunca me ha gustado las bebidas alcoholicas, especialmente aquellas que no son dulces, igual los pruebo a ver si de repente les agarro gusto.
While the other attendees of the meeting were drinking Old Pard I was drinking my delicious water. I have never liked alcoholic beverages, especially those that are not sweet, but I'll still try them and see if I suddenly get a taste for them.
Luego llegó un plato con diferentes rellenos árabes para untar en pancitos. Los prové todos para seguir experimentando pero aún no me acostumbro totalmente al sabor de los guisos con especias fuertes, esta es una experiencia larga y un camino bastante grande con respecto a los sabores, por lo menos para mí.
Then came a plate with different Arabic fillings to spread on bread. I tried them all to keep experimenting but I am still not fully accustomed to the taste of stews with strong spices, this is a long experience and quite a long way with respect to flavors, at least for me.
La noche pasó increíblemente rápido y a las 12 ya estaba muertita del sueño, hace tiempo que no me acostaba tan tarde, pero valió la pena porque lo disfruté mucho.
The night went by incredibly fast and by 12 o'clock I was dead asleep, it had been a long time since I went to bed so late, but it was worth it because I enjoyed it so much.
