Within the diverse gastronomies of the world, traditional beverages have a place of honor. Often, these beverages transcend their culinary character and become a cultural element, indispensable for the celebration of certain rites, festivities and specific events, with deep historical roots, whose production and consumption have very particular sociological, economic and even religious meanings. Thus we can speak of cocuy pecayero in Venezuela; pulque and tequila in Mexico; wine in Spain; vodka in Russia, among others. There are also infusions, such as mate in Argentina and tea in Chile. Another category of drinks can be juices, chichas, milkshakes, etc., that is, when we talk about traditional drinks, we refer not only to alcoholic drinks, but also to non-alcoholic ones, but associated with a tradition or custom of the country of origin; and taking into consideration the importance of them, we have chosen them as protagonists of the THIRD FOODIES CONTEST, whose theme is TRADITIONAL DRINKS
In view of the above, today November 23, 2021 this call for entries is open, with the intention of promoting the dissemination of traditional drink recipes by you, the Foodies, content creators who make life in this community. It should be noted that this contest is possible thanks to the support that the Foodies Bee Hive community is giving us, the curators of the same, contributing part of the amount of the prizes that will be awarded. The intention of this activity is that each of you make a review of the traditional drink recipes of your country, (either your country of origin or the one you live in nowadays), and choose one that you like, with which you identify and want to share in Hive. Having said that, let's take a look at the details of this initiative:
Condiciones (FAVOR LEER CUIDADOSAMENTE CADA UNA):
Se aceptará un solo post escrito por participante, NO videos.
Las recetas han de ser tradicionales o autóctonas del país de donde es nativo o en donde vive actualmente el participante, o de su tradición familiar.
La publicación debe contener una introducción en dónde se exponga una breve historia de la bebida, y explique de qué parte es la receta (pueblo o ciudad, zona y país), en qué ocasiones o con qué motivo se prepara esta bebida. Igualmente el participante explicará cómo la aprendió a hacer y por qué la ha elegido para participar en el concurso y qué emociones o recuerdos tiene al prepararla.
NO SE ACEPTARÁN PLAGIOS, NI DE TEXTO NI DE FOTOS. TAMPOCO CONTENIDO ANTIGUO. POR FAVOR ABSTENERSE DE COPIAR DE INTERNET LAS RESEÑAS HISTÓRICAS DE LAS BEBIDAS.
La lista de ingredientes ha de ir claramente expresada, en medidas comprensibles en cualquier parte del planeta. Asimismo, debe explicarse qué cantidad de producto se obtendrá, ya sea en raciones o en cualquier otra medida.
La receta ha de ir acompañada de un mínimo de diez (10) fotografías, y en al menos dos (2) de ellas, ha de aparecer el participante elaborando la preparación, y han de presentar al final del post, la bebida ya servida. Pueden colocar más fotos si así lo desean. NO se aceptarán fotos referenciales, aunque sean libres de derecho de autor.
Evitar fotografías que se centren sólo en el contenido del recipiente, de la jarra, olla o del bol. No se está pidiendo una panorámica de su cocina, pero al menos un área del entorno de preparación, que se vea parte de la encimera, cocina, paredes. No teman si su cocina es antigua, o es muy modesta; así que esa no es una limitante, pues no se estará valorando si la cocina es bella o fea, si es moderna o vieja, nada de eso, se entiende que existan limitaciones de este tipo. Y es importante la apertura del plano de la fotografía, pues permite al lector una apreciación más completa y comprensible de la receta. Trata de que tus fotos sean nítidas.
Cuidar la redacción y la ortografía.
Las explicaciones han de ser claras y comprensibles.
NO es necesario incluir el título de este post dentro del título del post participante, así que son LIBRES de ponerle el título que ustedes deseen a sus publicaciones.

- The recipes must be traditional or indigenous to the country where the participant is native or where he/she currently lives, or his/her family tradition.
- The publication must contain an introduction where a brief history of the drink is exposed, and explain where the recipe is from (town or city, area and country), on what occasions or for what reason this drink is prepared. Likewise, the participant will explain how he/she learned to make it and why he/she has chosen it to participate in the contest and what emotions or memories he/she has when preparing it.
- PLAGIC PLAGIARS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, neither TEXT NOR PHOTOGRAPHS. NEITHER OLD CONTENT. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM COPYING THE HISTORICAL REVIEWS OF THE BEVERAGES FROM THE INTERNET .
- The list of ingredients must be clearly stated, in measurements understandable anywhere in the world. The quantity of product to be obtained, either in portions or in any other measure, must also be explained.
- The recipe must be accompanied by a minimum of ten (10) photographs, and at least two (2) of them must show the participant making the preparation, and must show the drink already served at the end of the post. They can post more photos if they wish. Referential photos will NOT be accepted, even if they are copyright free.
- Avoid photos that focus only on the contents of the container, pitcher, pot or bowl. You are not asking for a panoramic view of your kitchen, but at least an area of the preparation environment, showing part of the countertop, stove, walls. Do not be afraid if your kitchen is old, or very modest; so this is not a limitation, because you will not be evaluating if the kitchen is beautiful or ugly, if it is modern or old, nothing like that, it is understood that there are limitations of this type. And it is important to open up the photographic plan, as it allows the reader a more complete and understandable appreciation of the recipe. Try to make your photos sharp.
- Careful writing and spelling.
- Explanations should be clear and understandable.
- It is NOT necessary to include the title of this post within the title of the participating post, so you are FREE to title your posts as you wish.
- Reblog this post and make mention of it within the participating post. Also, invite a friend to participate in this contest.
- It is INDISPENSABLE TO PARTICIPATE, share in the comments area of this post, the link of the participating post, as it will be the only way to locate them.
- This contest will be valid from the moment of its publication until Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 11:59 UTC; so you will have one (1) week to participate.
