Hello friends foodies of the world, I know I've been a little neglected lately but between my work and everyday life I have not been able to prepare recipes for you as I like so much, but I'm getting organized to come back with much more flavor, for the moment I want to share with you my most recent gastronomic experience.
Merida is magical, not only for its beautiful landscapes but also for its gastronomy which is delicious and has that special touch of the Venezuelan Andes in each of its meals since it has a homemade flavor that leaves anyone with the palate in love, we were visiting a restaurant called "Las Mucuras" near the Capilla de Piedra and it is located just in the way of the Carretera Trasandina.
This restaurant was not of our selection, the food was included in the travel package and had previously selected from the menu what I wanted to eat without knowing where they would take us, but I was impressed with how beautiful the place is nature had me captivated with the landscape of the mountains and the restaurant in front of them, just before entering a recreation area for children to play and a fountain with an eagle adorn the site among its green grass, you could breathe fresh air.
A red color predominated in its external facade you could see some lights that were hung from the roof sure at night can be seen quite illuminated, upon entering the restaurant was full of magic, is a cabin so cozy with wooden ceilings, chandeliers, wooden tables, and bulbs that made him look lit, other details like a fireplace, stairs with a nice finish and candles hung on the walls, the place was packed by us tourists my companion in this experience was my sister @noelyss.
We were a little impatient, we were almost the last to eat, because it was in order of reservation list of the trip, we chose to eat pasticho which came with bread with butter and garlic, it was quite hot because I could see the smoke of the food but I could not feel it because it was very cold, it had grilled cheese on its surface and on the filling of each of the more pasta sheets it had ground beef with ham, the taste of the meat was a delirium for my palate because I could feel its predominant taste of laurel without detracting from the taste of the meat, it was amazing, the taste of the bread was simple but a perfect balance for the rest of the dish.
It was so delicious that I just had to run my finger over the plate to avoid leaving the pasticho sauce at the bottom, if you visit Merida and go along the Carretera Trasandina do not hesitate to visit the restaurant "Las Mucuras" with a nice atmosphere and good food, because you will not regret it.

Hola amigos comidistas del mundo, se que los he tenido un poco abandonados últimamente pero entre mi trabajo y la cotidianidad no he podido preparar recetas para ustedes como tanto me gusta, pero ya me estoy organizando para poder volver con mucho más sabor, por los momentos quiero compartirles mi más reciente experiencia gastronómica.
Mérida es mágica, no sólo por sus lindos paisajes sino por su gastronomía que es deliciosa y posee ese toque especial de los Andes Venezolanos en cada una de sus comidas ya que tiene un sabor hecho en casa que deja a cualquiera con el paladar enamorado, estuvimos visitando un restaurante llamado "Las Mucuras" cerca de la Capilla de Piedra y se encuentra justo en la vía de la Carretera Trasandina.
Este restaurante no fue de nuestra selección, la comida venía incluido dentro del paquete de viaje y previamente había seleccionado en el menú lo que quería comer sin conocer a donde nos llevarían, pero yo quedé impresionada con lo hermoso que es el lugar la naturaleza me tenía cautivada con él paisaje de sus montañas y el restaurante frente a ellas, justo antes de entrar un área de recreación para que puedan jugar los niños y una fuente con un águila adornan el sitio entre su pasto verde, se podía respirar un aire puro.
Un color rojo predominaba en su fachada externa se podían ver algunas luces que estaban guindadas desde el techo seguro en las noches puede verse bastante iluminado, al entrar el restaurante estaba lleno de magia, es una cabaña tan acogedora con techos de madera, candelabros, mesas de madera, y con bombillas que le hacían ver iluminado, otros detalles como una chimenea, escaleras con un lindo acabado y velas guindadas en las paredes, el lugar estaba repleto por nosotros los turistas mi compañera en esta experiencia fue mi hermana @noelyss.
Estabamos un poco impacientes, fuimos casi las últimas en comer, porque era por orden de lista de reservación del viaje, nosotras elegimos comer pasticho el cuál venía acompañado con pan con mantequilla y ajo, estaba bastante caliente porque podía ver el humo de la comida pero no podía sentirlo porque había mucho frío, tenía queso gratinado en su superficie en el relleno de cada una de más láminas de pasta tenía carne molida con jamón, el sabor de la carne era un delirio para mi paladar porque podía sentir su predominante sabor a laurel sin restarle sabor a la carne, era alucinante, el sabor del pan era simple pero un equilibrio perfecto para el resto de plato.
Estaba tan exquisito que solo me falto pasarle el dedo al plato para no dejar la salsa del pasticho en el fondo, si visitan Mérida y van por la Carretera Trasandina no duden en visitar el restaurante "Las Mucuras" con un ambiente agradable y buena comida, porque no se arrepentirán.
