Aceh.. aceh..aceh. everything about vacations in this city feels very difficult to move on. Starting from the beach, forest, waterfall and culinary. Our few weeks of vacation in this city still make us addicted to visit this city again. Today we will share about Sate Matang, a culinary that you must try while on vacation in this city.

Ripe satay is a typical food that comes from the city of Aceh. If the satay in the city of Medan and West Sumatra is served with rice cake, it is different from the presentation of cooked satay in the city of Banda Aceh. This cooked satay is served with a plate of rice. And the broth is quite special and the peanut sauce is all served separately.

There are several well-known ripe satay places in Banda Aceh City, one of which is the ripe satay stall D, Wan. This shop is located at Jalan TGk. Imum Lueng Bata Gp. Blang Cut Banda Aceh. This stall is one of the most well-known and highly recommended stalls in Banda Aceh City. This shop only sells one food menu, namely cooked satay, but the drink menu here is quite diverse, ranging from soft drinks, coffee, tea, mineral water and a variety of fresh fruit juices.

Warung Sate D'Wan is never empty of visitors, until the owner of the satay stall intervenes directly to serve visitors who come. Visitors who come to this shop are not only from Banda Aceh City, there are also many other visitors from outside the city just like us. about the taste of this satay is no longer in doubt. The bite that goes into our mouths will never taste enough, even when we are full and the stomach can't seem to hold it anymore, but the mouth still wants to keep chewing without stopping.

The cooked satay at Warung D'wan is a satay made from sliced mutton with slices that are not too smooth and taste very good, not too dry and burnt due to the burning process, then the spice taste is light and fits perfectly on the tongue, perfect doneness, the meat is not tough. and it's very easy to bite, added with the peanut sauce which is super delicious and feels really good on the tongue, added with a broth that is almost similar to soup with a light, fresh and curious taste, what kind of spice is in this soup? Is there a mixture of spices or is it pure from the rest of the mutton stew added with celery leaves and sliced tomatoes. Still curious until now. When we asked the owner the answer was only one 'Secret'.. 😁

Regarding the price, we were almost fooled, because we thought the satay here was sold per serving, it turns out that the satay here is sold per skewer at a price of RP for one skewer. 3000 and the price of rice per portion is Rp. 5,000. one plate of satay contains 10 skewers of goat so that the price per serving is added with rice otalnya Rp. 35,000 for the broth and peanut sauce is included with the price of the satay. So it's free.
