Hello there everyone! It's good to be back. I'm happy to have you again.
This morning, I cooked sotanghon soup for breakfast. I tried to measure if I can do cooking with my own since I'm away from my family when I started working. I didn't just do the cooking for experiment but I have been craving to such so, I challenged myself. Actually, every week, I always think of good ideas of how should I budget my money especially that I'm not totally good at it because it's my first time to be in a distance. However, I find it interesting as it improves my ability to solve problems and do the cooking. By the way, in this blog I would like to share my simple style of mine in cooking sotanghon soup with all the ingredients I have in the kitchen and in the refrigerator.
Ingredients : (I'm not so sure about the measurements since I've just trying to achieve the taste I'd wanted)
1/4 Sotanghon
Black Pepper
Red Onion
Garlic
Spring onion
1 knorr cube (chicken broth)
2 spoons of soy sauce
A pinch of salt
Magic Sarap
1/8 Cabbage
2 Boiled Eggs
Steps:
I. Stir fry the garlic and red onions until turns brown and add the knorr cube.
II. Put two glasses of water in the fan. I also added spring onions. Boiled
III. Put the sotanghon when the water is already boiling.
IV. Add 2 spoons of soy sauce.
V. Add cabbage, pepper, magic sarap, and a pinch of salt.
VI. Prepare the boiled unshelled 2 eggs. (I boiled the eggs when I cooked my rice to save time and afterwards, I unshelled it.
VII. Add the spring onions to add savory.
[Let it boil for 2 minutes in medium heat and taste it. You can add more ingredients if you want to]
Done!
It's ready to serve...
