Hello friends my greetings, today I will show you a different way to prepare mashed potatoes. Traditionally, mashed potatoes are made only with potatoes, here I have added another ingredient and it really is very nutritious and with an original flavor. Follow the step by step to make it, everyone will like it and it is very quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 2 potatoes
- 1 carrot
- Parsley
- Garlic
- Salt pepper
Preparation:
Step 1
- Peel and wash the potatoes and carrots very well, then cut into small pieces and place in a pot with enough water.
Step 2
- Add a clove of garlic, salt and pepper to taste, and bring to medium high heat until the potatoes and carrot are soft; but not very soft.
Step 3
- Raise the heat a little so that the water reduces; but not all and the potatoes adsorb the flavor to all the seasonings and do not remain in the water.
Step 4
- When the water is reduced, let it rest a little and remove the potatoes and carrots with a colander in another container part by part.
Step: 5
- Mash the potatoes and the carrot. In a cup add water from the one left in the pot and add 1 tablespoon of powdered milk mix and add that mixture to the potatoes.
Step: 6
- Add the finely chopped parsley and two tablespoons of grated Parmesan or Pecorino cheese, mix well.
Serve hot or cold, as you prefer.
