Ingredients:
- 2 cups plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 tablespoons cooking oil
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon paste or 1/4 lemon juice & 1 teaspoon lemon essence
- 1 cup milk
Method:
Mix dry ingredients together: Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Add wet ingredients and mix everything together: Add eggs, cooking oil, lemon paste (or lemon juice and essence), and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
- Use 1/8 cup of batter in each pan: Measure out the batter to ensure evenly sized pancakes.
- Prepare the pan: Wipe the pan with a clean cloth, do not grease the pan.
- Cook the pancakes:
- Pour the batter into the pan over medium heat (set to
3).
- Once bubbles appear on the surface (as seen in the picture), flip the pancake.
- Cook for another minute, then remove and repeat the process until all batter is used
