Chicken Handi is a spicy chicken dish and popular in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan mostly. It is little different from Chicken Curry and Chicken Mashala. Process to cook Chicken Handi is similar to chicken curry but the port used to cook this dish makes it little different than curry. Actually this dish has some special creamy sauce which gives an extra flavour than other chicken dishes.
What is Handi in this dish?
A handi is nothing but a deep vessel with wide mouth and when the chicken gets cooked using this vessel it becomes chicken Handi. You can see the vessel looks like as below, however this vessel is not 100% proper.
As you can see someone is bringing out the cooked chicken from a deep port. That's why it is Chicken Handi.
How it looks after cooking?
Usually its looks is awesome and fully delicious.
Just after serving the cook poured some cheese on it so that it became more tasty. Please see more photos of it..
