Potato onion curd recipe

Aloo Pyaaz Dahi ki Curry, which is a potato and onion curry

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 large onions, finely sliced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (curd), whisked
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Firstly oil in a deep pan heat it or kadai over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, the finely sliced onions and chopped green chilies to the pan.potatoes to the pan and mix well with the onions and green chilies. Now, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt also Pour in 1 cup of water, cover the pan with a lid, and let it simmer until the potatoes are fully cooked and tender. Once the potatoes are cooked, reduce the heat to low and gently stir in the whisked yogurt. Be careful not to boil the curry at this stage as it may cause the yogurt to curdle. Mix well and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle garam masala
Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
