I love discovering new places, where you can have an incredible gastronomic experience. Those places that since you enter you feel a connection with the place, with the decoration, with those decorative phrases that invite you to enjoy a delicious moment and if we talk about pizza much more. I still don't know anyone who would say no to a slice of pizza, even the healthiest ones are delicious.
Recently, I had the opportunity to experience this, in Gabos Pizzas, a very nice restaurant that I did not know and best of all is that it is very close to home. This pizzeria is located in an old colonial style house, but the setting and overall design makes it look modern and attractive. The black walls highlight all the art that is impregnated in them, with creative images of ingredients, pizzas, utensils and even some very cute clowns, in the middle the name well lit and eye-catching.
Me encanta descubrir lugares nuevos, donde se puede tener una experiencia gastronómica increíble. Esos sitios que desde que entras sientes una conexión con el lugar, con la decoración, con esas frases decorativas que te invitan a disfrutar de un delicioso momento y si hablamos de pizza mucho más. Aún no conozco a nadie que le diga que no a un trozo de pizza, incluso las más saludables son deliciosas.
Hace poco tiempo, tuve la oportunidad de vivir esto, en Gabos Pizzas, un restaurante muy bonito que no conocía y lo mejor de todo es que está muy cerca de casa. Esta pizzería está ubicada en una antigua casa al estilo colonial, pero la ambientación y su diseño en general, la hace ver con un estilo moderno y atractivo. Las paredes en color negro resalta todo el arte que está impregnado en ellas, con imágenes creativas de ingredientes, pizzas, utensilios e incluso unos payasitos muy tiernos, en medio el nombre bien iluminado y llamativo.
The furniture is made of wood with a more rustic style, but very comfortable and easy to move, in our case, we joined two tables, since it was a lunch in the company of my sister-in-law, my mother-in-law and the children. When you decide to eat out, you are looking for a different experience and besides the food, the place itself is also important.
Los muebles son de madera con un estilo más rústico, pero muy cómodos y fáciles de trasladar, en nuestro caso, unimos dos mesas, ya que fue un almuerzo en compañía de mi cuñada, mi suegra y los niños. Cuando decides comer fuera de casa, vas en busca de una experiencia diferente y además de la comida, el lugar en sí, también es importante.
They served us with great kindness and offered us the promotion of the day which consisted of 3 margarita pizzas with an additional corn for $5, besides that all the options on the menu were very tempting, at a very good price, compared to other places I have visited.
We did not miss that wonderful opportunity and ordered that combo, for my sister-in-law, my nephew and me. My son and mother-in-law opted for a Hawaiian pizza and for my husband, who stayed home this time, I surprised him with a Spanish smoked salami pisa.
In the end, we all tried a little of each type, and I must say that they were all delicious, starting with the margherita, it had a lot of cheese, and the dough was crispy but not toasted, with a rich flavor. The kids loved it, plus the sweet touch of the corn highlighted the flavor of the rest of the ingredients.
Nos atendieron con mucha amabilidad y nos ofrecieron la promoción del día que consistía en 3 pizzas margarita con un adicional de maíz por 5 $, además de eso todas las opciones del menú estaban muy tentadoras, a muy buen precio, comparado, con otros sitios que he visitado.
No desaprovechamos esa maravillosa oportunidad y pedimos ese combo, para mi cuñada, mi sobrino y para mí. Mi hijo y mi suegra optaron por una pizza hawaiana y para mi esposo, quien en esta oportunidad se quedó en casa, lo sorprendí con una pisa de salchichón ahumado español.
Al final, todos probamos un poco de cada tipo, y debo decir que todas eran deliciosas, comenzando por la margarita, tenía mucho queso, y la masa era crocante pero no tostada, con un rico sabor. A los niños les encantó, además el toque dulce del maíz destaco el sabor del resto de los ingredientes.
The Hawaiian pizza was not far behind, the sauce was so delicious, my son, didn't really like the pineapple flavor, because he tasted a slice that was a little more sour, so we swapped, he loves pineapple as long as it's sweet.
La pizza hawaiana no se quedó atrás, la salsa era tan deliciosa, a mi hijo, no le gusto mucho el sabor de la piña, porque probó un trozo que estaba un poco más ácido, así que intercambiamos, a él le encanta la piña mientras este dulce.
On the other hand, the girl who served us was right in recommending the Spanish salami, its flavor was very similar to smoked ham, a very subtle flavor that was present throughout the pizza at the same time, definitely a winning combination.
Por otro lado, la muchacha que nos atendió tenía razón en recomendarnos la de salchichón español, su sabor era muy parecido al jamón ahumado, un sabor muy sutil y que estaba presente en toda la pizza al mismo tiempo, sin duda una combinación ganadora.
At the end, the girl gave us a little survey about the sauce and the dough. She only received compliments from us, we had nothing to object, besides that we ran out very quickly hahaha. Will we come back to Gabos Pizzas, of course we will! And if we don't come back it's because we will surely order delivery.

Al final, la muchacha nos realizó una pequeña encuesta sobre la salsa y la masa. Solo recibió halagos de nuestra parte, no teníamos nada que objetar, además de que se nos acabó muy rápido jajaja. ¿Volveremos a Gabos Pizzas?, por supuesto que sí! Y si no volvemos es porque seguro pediremos a domicilio.
