Special Seasoned Grilled Chicken
My husband and I really like grilled chicken. And we often eat out just to try the grilled chicken at our favorite stall. But because the price is quite expensive. Finally I started looking for a grilled chicken recipe that is almost exactly the same as the taste of the grilled chicken at our favorite stall. It's quite cheap and can be enjoyed by 1 family.
Let's prepare the ingredients that will be needed
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Chicken cut
- Fragrant spices for boiling chicken (1 piece of ginger)
- 2 liters of water
Seasiong Spices
- 4 pcs Red Chili
- 3 Hazelnuts
- 4 Pcs shallots
- 3 pcs Garlic
- 1 ginger segment
- ½ tomato
- 1 lemongrass
- 10 grams of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp sugar, and ¼ tsp chicken broth
HOW TO STEP PROSES
Boil water with ginger that has been crushed or cut into pieces.
While waiting for the boiling water to boil. wash the chicken that we bought earlier..
because I bought a large boiler chicken, so there was a lot of fat. and I also threw away the fat.
After the chicken is clean from fat and the water is boiling, put the chicken into the boiled ginger water.
boil for 20 minutes until the chicken is evenly cooked.
After the chicken is boiled, prepare the fine spices.
First, peel the shallots and garlic.
Then cut the chilies and onions into smaller pieces to make it easier to make the spices smoother.
then blend all the spices until smooth, add 50 ml of water
Prepare a little cooking oil in a frying pan on medium low heat.
After the spices give off a fragrant aroma... add finely chopped brown sugar and also 100 ml of water. Also, don't forget various types of salt, sugar and chicken stock.
Crush the lemongrass stalks. Add the sauteed spices
Finally, add 1 liter of water to the stir-fried spices and 2 tsp sweet soy sauce and wait until it boils.
Lift and drain the chicken that we just boiled.
After the water for stir-frying the spices boils, put in the chicken that we have boiled. and let the water reduce until it is absorbed into the chicken.
After the water for frying has reduced and the spices have been absorbed into the chicken, turn off the heat.
The last step, prepare the grill. You can grill it over hot coals or use a teflon with margarine.
Well, I chose to use a teflon with margarine. Grill the chicken until it is slightly crispy. Don't forget to turn it over for a moment so that the chicken doesn't burn on one side
The chicken is ready to be served. If you like spicy, you can use chili sauce or make your own.. and maybe in another story I will share the recipe for chili sauce to accompany this grilled chicken..
