Today for lunch I made this easy meal. It didn’t take too much time or effort, but everyone, including kids liked it.
Recipe
1/3 - turkey kielbasa (you can use different kind and amount)
1/2 - onion
1/2 - carrot
1/2 bell pepper
2 cups - rice
This was enough for 1 meal for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Instructions
Pour some oil in your pan and let it heat.
Cut up kielbasa and put it in hot oil, lower heat halfway.
While kielbasa is frying, wash white rice and start cooking. I had white Sushie rice, that takes 1,5 cup of water for 1 cup of rice. Since I had 2 cups of rice, I used 3 cups of water. Bring rice to boil and put heat to the lowest. Cook for 20 minutes.
Chop up onion and add it to kielbasa.
Wash and peel carrot, chop it up and add to pan.
Next, it’s bell pepper’s turn.
Wash and chop herbs that you like or have. I used dill and chives.
I also made a salad from fresh green mix leaves, Campari tomatoes, and avocado.
Here I put everything on my plate, and getting ready to add my herbs.
