Weekly Best Curation #97 - Healing Depression, Amplifying the Waves of Wellness, Making "Artisan vinegar and paper molasses" and so much more!

Welcome everyone, to another Weekly Best curation from the Natural Medicine community. I love to see this community grow week by week, as more and more people share their knowledge of medicinal plants and the healing therapies, that they use! Each week I am learning, each week I feel more empowered by the wonderful wisdom shared on here!

I love that we are such a culturally diverse community, where our ancient wisdom's are being preserved on the blockchain. This information is so important, as we move forward in this global transition, helping us to remember who we are and what we are capable of!

Let us continue to share our passion for natural medicine, for keeping both the ancient and modern wisdom’s and practices alive. And securing them for the future generations. Because this is gift that we bestow upon them, especially now as so much censorship is starting to come into play!

Let me start of this week, by expressing my thanks to @lizelle, who shared with us, her journey through depression. Where she began her healing using modern medicine, but then discovered that the really healing was through meditation and connecting with herself. She shares some wonderful natural ways in which you can treat depression!

I wrote about this some two years ago and it was not easy, but I think it’s necessary to share my story of hope now during these difficult times as I’ve heard of too many suicides lately; one a wonderfully talented daughter of a lovely family we know, another young life lost way too soon.
Suicide leaves scars that are difficult to mend - pain, confusion and anguish, the most difficult road to walk!

@indigoocean has made a wonderful video sharing some ideas to deal with the many challenges we are facing during this huge transition. Fro the food we eat and how it affects our energy levels, to the many therapeutic benefits of ecstatic dance. Although I must say, her laughter was great medicine in itself.

What we learn in these extremely challenging times will be able to go forward with us in better times, to create an even more thriving experience of life for all of us hereafter. May you be deeply resourced and ever renewed. May wellness be your touchstone.

Following on from that video, is another from @eco-alex. He has partnered up with @ianperic to provide us all with a moving on meditation workshop, with this being the first in the series. This post includes a video transcription of the video. It is important to build up as many skills as possible to help us move through these times.

Today we've got a practice focused on moving on in a really simple way. We're just going to be looking at whats going on for us. We're going to be looking at what are we resisting, what are we holding on to here and what is our best case scenario, what do we want to dance in to and what are we passionate about.

Check out their video here.

I was so excited to come across this post by @raymadesi, where she shares how to make both molasses and vinegar from sugar cane. She has such a wonderful life philosophy and it is so great to be promoting skills that can help us become more self sufficient.

consider it important to make the most of life, to exhaust all our strength to undertake new challenges and that nothing stops us from reaching our goals and that nobody tells me that I cannot buy or that I cannot have because it is not achieved,

Here is her wonderful post!

The power that comes from self awareness, something so many of us strive towards. This week @sidwrites, talked about the power of seeing our lies and how it brings us closer to who we really are, when we acknowledge them and learn to live a life being true to who we are.

It is not that lies are bad but they observe our mental energy and move us in a different direction. Therefore most spiritual texts will tell you to drop these lies.
They serve no purpose.
To drop, one must take a step back and re-evaluate life.
