Plant Power Cooking Challenge Week #11: Chinese Bean hot cake

image.png

Hello Hivers
I'm very happy to participate in the challeging. Thanks to
@JustinParke and @NaturalMedicine.

In Venezuela we are receiving a bag with food, from the CLAP program, and sometimes Chinese beans are included in that bag. To eat them you have to choose the good beans, wash them very well. I have prepared beans like caraotas, lentils, peas, but we don't like them very much. So, what to do with these grains that are a source of protein and vitamin E?
The best idea was to make a hot cake

INGREDIENTS

Chinese beans
Green plantain
Carrot
Olives
Capers
Onion
Garlic
Chili
Chives
Cilantro
Salt
Olive oil
Water

PREPARATION

Select the best beans

Wash them

Soak the beans in water for 10 hours.

Throw away the water.

Place the beans, green plantain, carrot, olives, capers, onion, garlic, chili, oil, salt, oregano, cumin, some water in a blender.

Blender for some minutes, and it's ready to cook it.

Put a little oil in a pan, pour the mixture and cook on both sides.
