hace algunos dias atrás, estaba comentando un post de mi pana @edwardstobia, creo que era un top 3 o algo así, realmente no me recuerdo en este preciso momento. Lo que si recuerdo es que una de las canciones era de Vicente García y allí me hizo como una petición o asi lo interpreté. Me empezó a rondar la cabeza hacer un cover de la canción DULCITO E COCO. Esta canción tiene una cadencia musical que evoca el son cubano, y la voz de Vicente García le da un toque hermoso y muy agradable al oído.
Hi friends, from @musiczone a few days ago, I was commenting on a post by my friend @edwardstobia, I think it was a top 3 or something like that, I don't really remember at this precise moment. What I do remember is that one of the songs was by Vicente Garcia and there he made a request or so I interpreted it. I started to think about doing a cover of the song DULCITO E COCO. This song has a musical cadence that evokes the Cuban son, and Vicente Garcia's voice gives it a beautiful touch and very pleasant to the ear.

Dulcito e coco es una canción del álbum "A la mar" lanzada en el año 2016. Interpretar a Vicente García no es tarea fácil, admiro a esos vocalistas que de una manera relajada pueden manejar su voz de una manera virtuosa, así que si bien tuve varios fallos en este cover es porque realmente no estoy tan acostumbrado a este estilo de cantar, eso si, soy una persona que le encanta salir de su zona de confort, creo que cada vez que uno se arriesga aprende muchísimo. Estoy sumando canciones nuevas a mi repertorio, y no solo canciones nuevas, también estoy sumando estilos nuevos, experimentando nuevas maneras de componer y crear musica, creo que estoy atravesando una racha creativa por asi decirlo, y estoy aprovechando eso. No tengo mucho que agregar, solo quiero agradecer como siempre el espacio que ofrece esta comunidad a los músicos en hive, y pedirles que me comenten sus opiniones y apreciaciones sobre mi presentación. Deseándoles el mejor de los éxitos en el festival, me despido.

Interpreting Vicente García is not an easy task, I admire those vocalists who in a relaxed way can handle his voice in a virtuoso way, so although I had several failures in this cover is because I'm really not so used to this style of singing, that yes, I am a person who loves to get out of his comfort zone, I think that every time you take a risk you learn a lot. I'm adding new songs to my repertoire, and not only new songs, I'm also adding new styles, experimenting with new ways of composing and creating music, I think I'm going through a creative streak so to speak, and I'm taking advantage of that.
