Hola, comunidad, participo en este interesante Festival en la categoría instrumento con percusión. Mi instrumento consta de un tambor de parranda navideña que fue uno de los primeros que utilizara la Agrupación "Turpiales de Aragua" (Patrimonio Cultural del estado Aragua) y el platillo de una batería. Esto y mis deseos de hacer música en compañía de algunos de mis familiares y amigos es lo que comparto con ustedes.
El tema seleccionado para participar fue "Caramelo e chocolate", una pieza que escuché por primera vez hace varias décadas interpretada por el "Sexteto Juventud". Su letra no habla de chocolate ni de caramelo sino del amor de un caballero por una dama de piel color chocolate. Aunque aún ella no le ha dado el "sí" se ha convertido en la alegría de su vida y en la que hace a su corazón precipitarse en veloz carrera simplemente por pasar a su lado.
La actitud esquiva de la dama en cuestión, quien evita sus miradas y no responde a sus palabras hacen que él se sienta morir lentamente de amor. Sin embargo mantiene la esperanza de que ella en el fondo sienta amor por él y en un futuro cercano lo acepte.

Hello, community, I participate in this interesting Festival in the instrument category with percussion. My instrument consists of a Christmas party drum that was one of the first used by the "Turpiales de Aragua" Group (Cultural Heritage of the Aragua state) and a drum cymbal. This and my desire to make music in the company of some of my family and friends is what I share with you.
The song selected to participate was "Caramelo e chocolate"(Chocolate Candy), a piece that I heard for the first time several decades ago performed by the "Sexteto Juventud" (Youth Sextet) Its lyrics do not talk about chocolate or candies but about the love of a gentleman for a lady with chocolate-colored skin. Although she has not yet said "yes" to him, he has become the joy of his life and the one that makes his heart rush into a fast race simply by passing by his side.
The elusive attitude of the lady , who avoids his gaze and does not respond to his words, makes him feel slowly dying of love. However, he maintains the hope that deep down she feels love for him and will accept him in the near future.
Some friends and family support me in this video. We have taken the name of Musical Group "Venezuelan Power" at the suggestion of @jesuslnts and @fernanblog.
