En el día les comparto el cover que hice de la famosa y clásica canción llamada "Pa´ todo el año" de Jose Alfredo Jimenez, espero puedan disfrutar de este tema, al igual que lo hice yo! ¿Quién fue Jose Alfredo Jimenez?
José Alfredo Jiménez fue poeta, cantante, compositor, cronista, autor de más de un millar de canciones, que en su mayoría reflejan historias desgarradoras de desamor y pérdida de las que en muchos casos fue protagonista. Como siempre, os recomiendo que escuchéis sus interpretaciones.
Conocido como «El poeta del pueblo», grabó más de doscientos temas con melodías que trascienden lo poético y calan hondo en el corazón y la memoria popular. Todo ello sin tener ninguna educación musical ni tocar ningún instrumento.
Sus composiciones siguen vivas y en nuestra memoria a pesar de que él nos dejó hace casi medio siglo. Aún hoy son interpretadas por cantantes actuales de gran fama y de muy diferentes estilos. Maná, Julio Iglesias, Andrés Calamaro, Raphael, Julieta Venegas, Luis Miguel, Joaquín Sabina, Enrique Bunburi, Laura Pausini... Son solo algunos de ellos. Su vigencia es tal que sus herederos reciben incontables solicitudes para grabar sus canciones o utilizar su nombre.
Andrés Calamaro dijo en cierta ocasión, respecto al género musical ranchero, que tiene ingredientes teatrales auténticos, que acompañan bien al canto, a la borrachera sentimental, a la alegría y a la tristeza. Son las canciones tristes que cantamos cuando estamos contentos.

Who was Jose Alfredo Jimenez?
José Alfredo Jiménez was a poet, singer, composer, chronicler, author of more than a thousand songs, most of which reflect heartbreaking stories of heartbreak and loss of which in many cases he was the protagonist. As always, I recommend you to listen to his interpretations.
