40.000 Steps In The Eternal City (4)

Hello Steemians!

That's my fourth (and last) post about walking and shooting sights in Rome. The photos were taken in the Vatican, in fact, most of them are from inside the Basilica of St. Peter, which is the largest church and also one of the most sacred sites of the Christian religion.

I have to admit that this facility has completely taken over me.
The interior is huge and very richly decorated with reliefs and gold. What fascinated me the most was the incredible lightness radiating from such a mighty and spacious building inside, as if we're now floating off the ground and slowly flying into the sky :)

Definitely worth a visit!
