Starting the walk in the well known Eixample district we went down to the harbour. After 2.5months we just had the need to see the sea.
Here you have a landscape taken from the top of the Montjuic Hill. The one that hosted the 1992 Olympic Games. In the center right you can see the building of the W Hotel. So there we go.
As we allowed to do sports from 8pm to 11pm, we arrived in the harbour in the blue hour. Here you can see a close up of the building that we call The Sailing Boat Hotel or Hotel Vela in Spanish.
Besides the hotel there's a New Space built in the last years. It's called Marina Vela Barcelona. You can park your Yatch here and go directly to the hotel room. Check it out!
In the way back home we could document the heart we saw in the news a few days ago, but as we could not leave...it was virtual, until now. There's hope guys... there's hope. This is the message.
Following our way we made a short stop in the main Marina in the Port Vell, the Old Port. In this Marina you can see lots of yatchs and sail boats of world category.
Tonight we realized that 2 of the most important Yatchs of the world are making the quarantine here. Dilbar is the biggest one in the world and belongs to a Russian oligarch. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good shot of it. Too big,no angle.
Besides Dilbar we found a little brother, also huge, The Al Raya. Also belongs to another Russian oligarch.
And to finish the reportage I will show you a beautiful cityscape of the downtown area. Hope you enjoyed the post and can help me as I am a noob here. I'm just starting now.
I wish you hope, happiness, freedom and love.
