You probably heard about LGN as it will be airdropped over the course of a year (we're about a month in now) to $BRO holders so many of you, even if you hold just a bit of BRO in your Hive engine wallet, have seen these tokens come in daily. Then people start to check the price and find out damn, this token is priced at 1 Hive, sweet! The aidrop is based on a daily snapshot, so when you add BRO, your divs go up. Simple as that! I'm personally adding BRO bits from my blog earnings, even though I can't buy big bags at once, it still increases my daily airdrop of Legion tokens. On top of that, $BRO also still pays out weekly Hive dividends, so win-win, right?
Ways to get your hands on Legion
We have several options:
Buy LGN directly from the market
So let's check the options to get your hands on sweet LGN tokens. First, of course you can buy them on Hive engine, in the market here. It's good to know that within a few days (on January 1st), the token price is going up from 1 Hive/LGN to 1.1 Hive/Legion.
You still have a few days to get some for this price though. Don't think you're going to score them for a lot less, as nobody is willing to sell for low while people keep buying for the set price or very close to that price.
Another note, the price will keep increasing by 0.1 Hive every month for another 11 months after the first price increase in January. You are lucky reading it now though as this means you got here early enough to get the best deal.
Delegating HP to @stickupcurator
Now I've been doing this since day one, delegating part of my HP to @stickupcurator to earn 15% APR in LGN every day. Again, this is a daily snapshot so when you increase or decrease your delegation, your earnings are adjusted that day. I started delegating 500 HP, but am not up to over 3000 HP in delegation, meaning most of my HP is going there. I let them support artists and musicians on Hive with the vote and decided to get in big to earn more LGN every day. Especially now that LGN is still 1 Hive it's a very sweet deal knowing in a few days these tokens go up by 0.1 each.
More than 152k Hive Power is already been received in delegations and I know there will be more added soon, it's a great deal!
Holding $BRO ---> Get a daily $LGN airdrop
Another way to get your hands on LGN is simply by holding BRO in your wallet, no need to stake, just hold them. You will not only receive your weekly Hive dividends for doing so, but get the LGN airdrop on top of that every single day for another 11 months or so. Again, if you increase your BRO holdings, you get more dropped, if you decrease, the airdrop goes down. It means people are not sure whether to buy BRO or LGN now and BRO went up close to 10 Hive each today. I'm going to DCA and keep buying bits of BRO when I can but it's up to you.
LEGION had monthly dividends drop in Hive today!
Suprise, surprise (although those paying attention have seen the hints), LGN holders have been rewarded with a sweet bag of Hive dividends in the past day for simply holding their Legion tokens. I personally received close to 120 Hive for my holdings and powered them all up to immediately delegate the HP to @stickupcurator to receive more LGN, lol. And so we keep earning! Of course, we still get 3.11% interest on our HP as well, do you see how this is so freaking awesome?
These LGN dividends are not weekly or daily, but monthly.
