The wasp spider

Wasp spiders camouflage like wasps in grass. This disguise is useful for the wasp spider to survive other predators.

This spider is harmless to humans, but has a deadly sting to kill its prey.

Wasp spiders are larger than green spiders or jumping spiders.

The wasp spider is characterized by yellow, green, and black colors on its back. This spider also has a golden yellow color on its belly.

I found this wasp spider in my yard, where grass thrives after a few days of rain.
