Deciduous Tree Watercolour Painting

Hi hive friends! Welcome back to @tunnaingwin hive account.

Hello, I'm painting a tree with autumn foliage that is about to fall. First, mix Cadmium Yellow Deep andVermilion to make an ample amount of paint. Also prepare a color by blending some green and Ultramarine into one color. Practice drawing smooth lines with color first. Then similarly try and draw a smooth but jig-zag
line. We'll use this stroke. Ready? Jig-zag, jig-zag. See?Don't they look like dead branches? Continue drawing these lines. Try and loosen the pressure toward the end of the branch. This will make the branch ends sharp. Now use a darker tone of the same color over the already painted areas. See how it adds the depth to the bran ches? This will heighten the sense of space. Keep drawing branches as you wish.

Here I have a piece of copy paper. Casually roll the paper into a ball. This creates sharp edges in the paper. These edges can be used for painting leaves here and there. I'll put some paint on the ball. Lightly toss the ball in the paint......and
lightly tap the painting with the ball in the same way.You can place color on the surface with variations if you turn the paper ball as you tap. See? Now you can see leaves! At this point it's important to distinguish the spots with lots of leaves and those with few leaves as you imaged at the beginning. You may find a little scratching effective as welI. Now I'm preparing a darker
tone of the mixture of Cadmium Yellow Deep and
Vermilion.

We'll repeat the same process with the ball..,
..but this is required to produce the sense of depth or space between leaves. See?..how nice it is? You can represent leaves in the back and those in the front. Now make a different tone of color by mixing light colors such as Green #1 and Yellow Deep to that color to use for the shady spots of the leaves. This will further
enhance the depth of the leaves. This process is
necessary because, even though some leaves are falling.., .the areas with living leaves still have a certain volume. Making more changes by adding some green....to add more branches in the areas that seem to need more details. In this way... Add more blue and Umber tones to this color to paint the shadow of leaves around
the branches. Such a little addition makes a painting look even better. Now it's done! I've painted a tree with autumn leaves that are about to be falling.

There are two points if you remember. Because the leaves are falling, the tree's branches are more visible. To paint these branches, you need to practice the stroke....so that you can paint them smoothly. Also practice drawing zig-zag lines. Then you'll feel comfortable painting these branches. The other point is to paint these colored leaves. Instead of stippling them with a
slender brush..,.try and use balled-up paper. Put some paint on it and tap the painting with it. That's the trick. If you try it, you'll find it a lot of fun. Well, let's continue watercolor painting together. See you next time!
