Even last year I knew this flower as Kachuripana Fana flower. But just a few days ago I googled the name of the unknown flower and that's when I got to know the real name of this beautiful purple flower. The name of this flower is Barankha (Monochoria hastata).
By discussing and reviewing, we can learn that Barankha is a flower of Bangladesh and India.Barankha flowers are seen in certain places. After cutting Boro paddy field in our area, I photographed the flowers. These flowers grow in abandoned ponds and shallow swamps in fairly accessible soil. And can be seen in the reservoirs around Dhaka. Prefers to stay close to the ground, and can survive in soft clay.
