Beyond gold, riches, and material things, there are a lot of treasures that are invaluable possessions—things that no amount of money can buy. Here are a few things that are more precious to me than gold:
My relationship with God: There's no amount of wealth on earth in heaven and underneath the earth that can be compared with God.
I have learned to grow and groom my relationship with God from school days; this is a product of several encounters I have had while at the university. I remember attending a certain fellowship that exposed me to the in-depth truths of God's word and prolonged prayers. This made me develop a deep hunger and insatiable appetite for the study of the Word and Prayer.
A lot of people have compromised with their walk with God into getting fane and the riches of this world. Am not judging them; it's their choice and decisions they made, but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
My family: Because of how much people thirst for fame and wealth, a lot of people have sold and killed their family members.
I love my family so much that I won't trade for anything in this world. I can't imagine trading those beautiful moments we shared—the love, support, and memories. These things are irreplaceable. No amount of gold can compare to this.
Health: If you have all the gold in this world and have declining health, that means you are poor. A good, sound health is worth more than gold.
I can't also trade my integrity for gold.
