Hello Friends,
The shipbuilding industry is now considered to be the most promising sector in Bangladesh due to the availability of rivers and cheap labor. Day by day this industry is growing very fast. It seems that this industry has suddenly been able to attract everyone's attention. In fact, as the river is the main country, it is very easy to build on the banks of the river.
However, we have not yet formulated the right policies in this regard, I believe that if the right policies and opportunities for government patronage are created, the industry will be able to develop very quickly. However, the government and the Ministry of Industries have already taken the necessary steps and everyone is hopeful that the right decision will be taken in a short time.
One thing I need to mention here is that I spent my whole childhood in a river area. In fact, our home was inside the Adamji Jute Mills, and the Adamji Jute Mills was on the banks of the Shitalaksha River. So I have a very good feeling about the river. Of course there was a small shipbuilding dock in that area, where we used to go around. Although not everyone was allowed to go there. This is why from a young age I had an idea about the ship industry.
There are about 200 shipbuilding companies in Bangladesh which are based in Dhaka, Chittagong, Narayanganj, Barisal and Khulna. Ship export from Bangladesh started in 2008. Ananda Shipyard in Dhaka exports a small ship named MV Stella Morris to Denmark. This was followed by the Western Marine Shipyard in Chittagong. They received orders from the German Grona Shipping Company to build eight ships at a cost of 85 million. When these two companies were involved in ship exports, the world market for shipbuilding was booming. Then a few more local companies came forward to capture the export market. In 2008 alone, domestic companies were promised to build 50 ships.

And that idea has now come to fruition, seeing new forms of this evolving industry. In fact, the value proposition of today's writing is elsewhere. Last Friday I traveled all day on the river. Although that area was my former acquaintance. Where in the past the river bank was almost empty but now the shore has become very busy and glittering, because of that shipbuilding industry. A few shipbuilding docks have been set up here.
In fact it is growing very fast and traders are investing more here. Special Bangladesh has already been able to export about 40 full ships to different countries. Due to which it has been able to attract the attention of investors and everyone is hopeful that as investment continues to grow in this way, it will be able to create great potential in the future.
However, let this developed industry come to fruition, let investors hold on to investment with confidence. However, the main problem is the pollution of the environment. I hope everyone will consider this issue properly and refrain from environmental pollution. We need development but we need to focus on it without harming the environment. Because development is never sustainable by harming the environment.
