How do you use the new Sumerian Academy? First sign up for a publishing account at https://ecency.com/signup use the referral name Darkflame. Wait for the confirmation email and once you confirm your email, you will receive a KEY in your wallet.
Then you can go to the Sumerian Academy Community created/hive-115797 and login using either the browser extension KeyChain or the in-browser dapp HiveSigner.
Once you have logged in and can see your profile, you can publish in the Sumerian Academy, but there are some guidelines for doing so effectively. Firstly, the group on FB was literally just an infodump- a place to share everything ancient history related so I don't have to flood my timeline with it. Secondly, this Sumerian Academy on PeakD is not. Instead, in the new community, you can earn rewards for composing well-written and original content.
This a permanent archive, and I know that one day the Sumerian Research Academy on FB might vanish. So in advance of that happening, I am asking anyone who might enjoy writing or find ancient history interesting, to help by transcribing ancient history into your own well-crafted essays and stories that link-to the source information. Copy pasting won't do well here, and we aught to write our own articles about subjects.
I started this group in June of 2019 because I wanted to post about Sumeria and ancient civilizations and some of this other stuff, but not put it on my timeline. I think now that I have filled that space up with all these ideas we should try to learn the stories. I would like to post about all the temples around the world for their historical significance's. It seems that we have about 12,000 years of human history to uncover and that's sort of what I am doing here. Please upvote and comment if you read one of these posts, and search some other related info if you have a minute.
The time has come to turn previously outlined Units or courses into more direct learning material, so maybe we can work towards completing some of those. You are in this group because you have interest in learning about Sumerian and ancient civilizations, so please accept this challenge and teach me something too! There's just too much for one person to figure this out, together we can glimpse a closer view of that elusive truth about who we are and why we are here.
The Facebook group will go on as long as it needs to, or is able to, but I want to continue to "back up" these important historical stories. A physical building is not necessary but maybe more of a virtual experience or some more videos will be helpful. I have recorded a few such media files.
Let's make History cool! What are some of the most interesting stories that were ever told? Can we adapt some of them? There are so many tablets and works that are just in different languages, but what do they say? And I have dumped a whole lot of information in the FB group, so pick anything and write an original article about it. Make sure you navigate to the Sumerian Academy on peakd and click create new from there, so it goes in there.

Aristotle studied there for twenty years (367–347 BC) before founding his own school, the Lyceum. The Academy persisted throughout the Hellenistic period as a skeptical school, until coming to an end after the death of Philo of Larissa in 83 BC.
