La historia de Rob comienza en una pequeño barrio en las afueras de la Gran ciudad, un sitio donde las calles son tan coloridas y llena de buena vibra como su gente; donde el arte se haya en cada esquina y el talento no se roba en los callejones a la luz de la luna, sino que se hereda en cada molécula de ADN.
Hijo de unos padres amorosos y luchadores comprendió que en la vida no solo debemos soñar, sino trabajar día tras día porque las estrellas no las alcanza el más suertudo, sino quien se las ingenia para escalar hasta lo más alto.
De niño tuvo una infancia feliz rodeada de sus hermanas mayores, mujeres talentosas y con una luz más brillante que el sol, que lo introdujeron a la música y le enseñaron todo lo que un hombre debe ser.
En su juventud fue un rebelde con alma noble, siempre en defensa de lo justo; el gusto por la música era innato viniendo de una larga línea de cantantes, pero Rob quería algo más, sentía que no tenía el encanto que sus familiares al cantar.
Sus padres preocupados por sentir a su hijo intimidado por el legado familiar, hicieron lo imposible por hacerle ver que su verdadero camino era otro y lo enviaron a la universidad.
En la Universidad conoció a Amy, una mujer vibrante y hermosa con una voz que eclipsaba hasta el artista más afamado. Enamorado decidió intentar nuevamente con el canto, pero en sus inicios fracasó, la crítica fue escasa pero cruel.
En medio de la depresión, quiso a aferrarse a la compañía de Amy haciéndola el centro de su universo y su única razón para existir. La llenó de todo el amor que era capaz de dar, le dedicó su tiempo y espacio, pero Amy al verse rodeada de tanto amor se alejó alegando que un amor entre una estrella y un fracasado era una relación destinada al peor de los finales.
El no comprendía lo que sucedía, su vida había tomado un rumbo directo al fondo de la oscuridad. En medio tanto horror, decidió refugiarse en la música y así conoció a Rising Star, un programa para grandes talentos donde fue en busca de su único y verdadero amor: la música.
Trabajó hasta el cansancio, no solo practicó, asistió a clases que pagó trabajando horas inimaginables y en una noche escribió una canción del alma, pero al presentarse nuevamente fue rechazado.
Derrotado volvió a donde comenzó todo: su hogar; fue acogido por sus padres quienes deciden intervenir en el rumbo de su vida, informándole que aunque cantar no sea su destino hay maneras de vivir el arte.
“Todos somos artistas en un mundo llena de magia” le dijo una y otra vez su padre, pues él era muy bueno con tonos bajos, pero incapaz de entender cómo se tocaba un instrumento de cuerdas; la de la esquina no cantaba ni para salvar su vida, pero bien que bailaba sin técnica pero con sabrosura, el del bongó del edificio de enfrente no componía, pero te hacia gozar con melodías prestadas; y los chicos de la parte trasera no sabía cantar, bailar, ni tocar, pero podían componer una melodía con el sonido del viento. En fin, todos sudaban arte a su manera.
Rob sorprendido por la sabiduría de su progenitor se conmovió y desde ese día su vida cambió.
Volvió a audicionar en Rising Star, esta vez con una composición propia que lo hizo a los años convertirse en el mejor de los compositores y productores musicales. Su voz sigue siendo sencilla pero armónica por lo que la incluye en cada composición, como apoyo a la voz principal.
En cuanto al amor, lo encontró en una mujer sencilla sin ningún talento musical pero con una pluma que convertía cualquier fantasía en realidad, una musa que inspiro sus mayores éxitos y que cada noche se despedía con un beso en la frente para luego susurrar: mi querido Rob.
En este caso, mi historia está inspirada en todos aquellos que luchamos una y otra vez por cumplir un sueño. Rob no cambió la meta: dedicarse a la música, pero modificó ligeramente el camino, obteniendo lo que soñó y más.

As a child he had a happy childhood surrounded by his older sisters, talented women with a light brighter than the sun, who introduced him to music and taught him everything a man should be.
In his youth he was a rebel with a noble soul, always in defense of what was right; the taste for music was innate coming from a long line of singers, but Rob wanted something more, he felt that he did not have the charm that his relatives had in singing.
His parents, concerned that their son was intimidated by the family legacy, did their best to make him see that his true path lay elsewhere and sent him to college.
In college he met Amy, a vibrant and beautiful woman with a voice that eclipsed even the most famed artist. Enamored he decided to try singing again, but in his early days he failed, the criticism was scant but cruel.
In the midst of depression, he wanted to cling to Amy's company, making her the center of his universe and his only reason to exist. He filled her with all the love he was capable of giving, he dedicated his time and space to her, but Amy, seeing herself surrounded by so much love, walked away, claiming that a love between a star and a failure was a relationship destined for the worst of endings.
He didn't understand what was happening, his life had taken a direct course into the depths of darkness. In the midst of all this horror, he decided to take refuge in music and so he met Rising Star, a program for great talents where he went in search of his one true love: music.
He worked to exhaustion, not only practiced, he attended classes that he paid for by working unimaginable hours and in one night he wrote a soul song, but when he applied again he was rejected.
Defeated, he returned to where it all began: his home; he was welcomed by his parents who decided to intervene in the course of his life, informing him that although singing is not his destiny, there are ways to live art.
"We are all artists in a world full of magic," his father told him over and over again, for he was very good with bass tones, but unable to understand how to play a stringed instrument; the girl in the corner could not sing to save her life, but she danced without technique but with gusto; the bongo player in the building across the street did not compose, but made you enjoy with borrowed melodies; and the boys in the back could not sing, dance, or play, but they could compose a melody with the sound of the wind. In short, they all sweated art in their own way.
Rob, surprised by his father's wisdom, was moved and from that day on his life changed.
He auditioned again in Rising Star, this time with a composition of his own that made him over the years become the best of the composers and music producers. His voice is still simple but harmonic so he includes it in every composition, as a support to the main voice.
As for love, he found it in a simple woman with no musical talent but with a pen that turned any fantasy into reality, a muse that inspired his greatest hits and that every night he would say goodbye with a kiss on the forehead and then whisper: my dear Rob.
In this case, my story is inspired by all of us who struggle again and again to fulfill a dream. Rob didn't change the goal: to pursue music, but he slightly modified the path, getting what he dreamed of and more.
