Greetings friends of NFTGamela. Today I would like to share with you my participation in Keely's Risingstar challenge, I had already written the story but for various circumstances I had not managed to publish it.

Voz tímida

Todo comenzó hace poco más de un año, cuando era una estudiante de último año de secundaria. Me sorprende que todo haya pasado tan rápido, pero me complace que haya sucedido en primer lugar, pues no me esperaba llegar a tantas personas y que todos apreciaran de tal manera lo que tenía que decir.

Mi nombre es Keely, sí, con dos E. Mi madre iba a registrarme como Kelly, pero en el registro se equivocaron con mi nombre así que ese fue el con el que me registraron, Keely. Me parece encantador, porque hay muchas Kelly, pero pocas Keely, o quizás hay muchas Keely también, pero me gusta pensar que mi nombre es más único.

Shy voice

It all started a little over a year ago, when I was a senior in high school. I'm surprised it all happened so fast, but I'm glad it happened in the first place, because I didn't expect to reach so many people and for everyone to be so appreciative of what I had to say.

My name is Keely, yes, with two E's. My mother was going to register me as Kelly, but at the registry they got my name wrong so that's what they registered me as, Keely. I think that's lovely, because there are a lot of Kelly's, but few Keely's, or maybe there are a lot of Keely's too, but I like to think my name is more unique.

Nací hace 23 años y desde pequeña me ha encantado cantar, pero soy tímida por naturaleza. Desde pequeña mis padres me inscribieron en clases de música y canto, pero nunca llegué a presentarme en vivo delante de una multitud, por el miedo escénico tan terrible que me invadía en cada presentación.

Durante años luché contra eso, pero créanme que no es algo fácil de superar. Me gustaba cantar, tenía talento y aunque suene vanidosa, también soy bonita. No me gustaba cantar ante un público, es lo único que nunca me atreví a hacer en esos años…

Pero eso comenzó a cambiar desde que una amiga me animó a crearme una cuenta en instagram, para darme a conocer y cantar. Ella sabía lo talentosa que soy y me ayudó a grabar varios videos cantando canciones icónicas que iban muy bien con mi voz. Claro, comencé subiendo fotos de mi misma en mi perfil, ganando algunos seguidores y recibiendo mensajes privados de extraños millonarios que deseaban conocerme o pagar por fotos mías, incluso de mis pies (hay de todo en internet).

I was born 23 years ago and since I was a child I have loved to sing, but I am shy by nature. Since I was little my parents enrolled me in music and singing lessons, but I never got to perform live in front of a crowd, because of the terrible stage fright that invaded me in every performance.

For years I fought against it, but believe me it is not an easy thing to overcome. I liked to sing, I was talented and although it sounds vain, I am also pretty. I didn't like singing in front of an audience, it's the only thing I never dared to do in those years...

But that started to change since a friend encouraged me to create an instagram account, to make myself known and sing. She knew how talented I am and helped me record several videos singing iconic songs that went very well with my voice. Of course, I started uploading pictures of myself on my profile, gaining a few followers and receiving private messages from millionaire strangers who wanted to meet me or pay for pictures of me, even of my feet (there's everything on the internet).

Fue entonces cuando decidí finalmente subir un video a mi cuenta, cantando una canción hermosa de una banda de rock que hoy en día está desintegrada, pero cuyo vocalista fue un ícono, casi tan famoso como otro artista también fallecido apodado como el Rey del pop.

Ese primer video recibió muchos comentarios positivos, con muchos halagos de personas que no conocía y que me habían escuchado por primera vez. Claro, apenas recibí 25 comentarios, pero fueron mis primeros fans. Eso me animó a seguir subiendo videos de canto, hasta que un amigo dueño de un restaurante me invitó a cantar en su local, para entonces ya tenía más de 500 seguidores en mi cuenta. Estaba muy nerviosa, pero logré presentarme en su restaurante, siendo mi deleite los aplausos y ánimos del público…

En retrospectiva, creo que el miedo nunca se pierde, porque incluso ahora, estando a punto de cantar en este estadio delante de miles de personas, siento que mis piernas están temblando y mis manos sudando demasiado, pero lo haré bien, como siempre. Sé que esto apenas comienza, pero sé que lograré todas mis metas. Recuerden mi nombre, Keely, con dos E…

It was then that I finally decided to upload a video to my account, singing a beautiful song by a rock band that is now disintegrated, but whose vocalist was an icon, almost as famous as another artist also deceased nicknamed the King of Pop.

That first video received a lot of positive feedback, with many compliments from people I didn't know who had heard me for the first time. Sure, I only received 25 comments, but they were my first fans. That encouraged me to keep uploading singing videos, until a friend who owned a restaurant invited me to sing at his place, by then I already had more than 500 followers on my account. I was very nervous, but I managed to perform at his restaurant, being my delight the applause and encouragement from the audience....

In retrospect, I think the fear is never lost, because even now, being about to sing in this stadium in front of thousands of people, I feel that my legs are shaking and my hands are sweating too much, but I will do well, as always. I know this is just beginning, but I know I will achieve all my goals. Remember my name, Keely, with two E's...

Avance en el juego

Además de mi historia me gustaría compartir de manera breve mi avance en el juego. Esta semana no pude jugar demasiado pero continuo invirtiendo en el juego porque compré otra promoción de 12 packs de cartas.

Actualmente tengo 40K de fans con este pack y un montón mas de skills.

Progress in the game

In addition to my story I would like to share briefly my progress in the game. This week I couldn't play too much but I continue to invest in the game because I bought another 12 card pack promotion.

I currently have 40K fans with this pack and a lot more skills.

De las cartas mas destacadas logré obtener las siguientes. Son cartas con muchos fans y también con mucho skills, que me ayudan a tener un balance adecuado entre fans y ego.

Pero sin dudas de todas las cartas la que mas me gusto fue el autobus de 500 fans.

From the most outstanding cards I managed to get the following. They are cards with a lot of fans and also with a lot of skills, which help me to have an adequate balance between fans and ego.

But without a doubt, the card I liked the most was the 500 fans bus.

Son cartas muy buenas que me ayudarán a obtener mas starbits por misión.

Hablando de misiones, a continuación pueden ver cuando puedo recibir por cada misión que hago. Estas dos son un ejemplo de las misiones favoritas y las que mas suelo hacer en el juego.

These are very good cards that will help me to get more starbits per mission.

Speaking of missions, below you can see when I can receive for each mission I do. These two are an example of my favorite missions and the ones I usually do the most in the game.
