Greetings Splinterlands and Hivers community! Welcome to my Social Media Challenge, we are already in the second week of September and 2 days away from the end of the season. We just finished the last cycle of Brawls and I want to share with you my latest progress on my Gladius deck. Let's get started!
Saludos comunidad de Splinterlands y Hivers! Les doy la bienvenido a mi Social Media Challenge, ya estamos en la segunda semana de Setiembre y a 2 días del final de temporada. Recién terminamos el último ciclo de Brawls y quiero compartir con ustedes mi último avance en mi mazo Gladius. Comencemos!
Balance Brawls
We continue with our goal of leveling up the Arena in the Peakmonster Hurricane clan, we still have a long way to go but at least we have already surpassed 60% of the necessary GP.
Continuamos con nuestra meta de subir de nivel la Arena en el clan Peakmonster Hurricane, aun nos falta un trecho largo pero al menos ya hemos superado el 60% de los GP necesarios.
In this cycle of brawls I am permanently assigned to the Fray: Wild Golden League so all cards are valid in this division so it is quite demanding, even so we managed 7 wins and 1 loss but it was not enough to reach first place, achieving second place.
En este ciclo de brawls estoy asignado de forma fija a la Fray: Liga dorada wild así que todas las carta valen en esta división por lo que es bastante exigente, aun así logramos 7 victorias y 1 derrota pero no fue suficiente para alcanzar el primer lugar, logrando el segundo puesto.

My best battle in this tournament was using the masterful Jacek, whenever there is Blast on the battlefield there is nothing better than using the Scatter Shot ability on all your units, it disperses the damage and if your units have a high damage they can break through enemy defenses easily breaking the enemy lineup. In this case it was quite close since our opponent used the Return Fire ability as a main strategy.
Mi mejor batalla en este torneo fue usando al magistral Jacek, siempre que hay Blast en el campo de batalla no hay nada mejor que usar la habilidad Scatter Shot en todas tus unidades, dispersa el daño y si tus unidades tienen un gran daño pueden atravesar las defensas enemigas rompiendo fácilmente la alineación enemiga. En este caso fue bastante cerrada ya que nuestro oponente uso la habilidad Return Fire como estrategia principal.
Our second battle was using melee units, here I focused my strategy on reducing the opponent's melee damage while placing units with the ability Thorns in the first and last position. Finally as the offensive core of my lineup I placed 3 powerful opportunistic cards Deeplurker, Jumper Dragon and Isgald Vorst. Although our opponent placed a very solid decoy such as Agor Longtail we managed to overcome it successfully.
Nuestra segunda batalla fue usando unidades melé, aquí enfoque mi estrategia en reducir el daño melé del oponente al mismo tiempo que ubicaba unidades con la habilidad Thorns en la primera y última posición. Finalmente como núcleo ofensivo de mi alineación ubiqué 3 cartas oportunistas poderosas Deeplurker, Jumper Dragon e Isgald Vorst. Aunque nuestro oponente ubico un señuelo bastante sólido como lo es Agor Longtail logramos superarlo con éxito.
We accumulate the merits of the previous brawl and this one for a total of more than 17K merits enough for 8 Gladius packs, just like the last time we will not buy bloodstones my interest for now is focused on accumulating the largest amount of common and rare cards to take them to level 6 and 7 as soon as possible, if in the process of opening them an epic or legendary card appears it will be even better!
Acumulamos los méritos de la brawl anterior y ésta para un total de más de 17K méritos suficiente para 8 Gladius packs, al igual que la vez anterior no compraremos bloodstones mi interés por ahora se centra en acumular la mayor cantidad de cartas comunes y raras para llevarlas a nivel 6 y 7 lo más pronto posible, si en el proceso de abrirlos aparece una carta épica o legendaria será mejor todavía!

Progress with the fire class/Progresos con la clase fuego
Great progress in this class friends! Again in my hands Fina Voxom lvl 2, this powerful card I had already obtained at level 2 directly in the form of gold foil but I sold it after the disastrous decision that the gladius cards when burned would only give merits, a decision as wrong as infamous because it significantly devalued all the value of these cards and the effort in obtaining them.

Nuevamente en mis manos Fina Voxom lvl 2, esta poderosa carta ya la había obtenido en nivel 2 directamente bajo la forma de gold foil pero que la vendí tras la nefasta decisión que las cartas gladius al quemarlas solo darían méritos, una decisión tan errada como infame porque devaluó significativamente todo el valor de estas cartas y el esfuerzo en obtenerlas.
And you might think I would have burned that Gladius Gf to extract its value, but the truth is I did it because I preferred to finally complete my Dr. Blight lvl 3 to continue strengthening my neutral deck instead of taking it out as Dec or HBD from the game.
Y podrías pensar que había quemado esa Gladius Gf para extraer su valor, pero la verdad es que lo hice porque preferí completar finalmente a mi Dr. Blight lvl 3 para continuar fortaleciendo mi mazo neutral en lugar de sacarlo como Dec o HBD del juego.
Progress with water class/Progreso con la clase agua
In the water class we continue to accumulate rare and common cards, here my main interest is in leveling up the Isgald Vorst and Alfredo cards to have them at full power to use them correctly in the Fary of the golden league. The other 2 cards I don't use as much because the Chaos Legion edition cards already surpass them in damage and speed.
En la clase agua seguimos acumulando cartas raras y comunes, aquí mi mayor interés están en subir de nivel las cartas Isgald Vorst y Alfredo para tenerlas a tope para usarlas correctamente en la Fary de la liga dorada. Las otras 2 cartas no las uso tanto porque las cartas de la edición Chaos Legion ya las superan en daño y velocidad.
Progress with the earth class/Progreso con la clase tierra
In the earth class my favorite card is Katrelba Gobson, I currently have it at level 6 but the ideal would be to take it to level 8 because it reaches 5 speed, while the second card in order of priority is Cutter Brieze a rare 1 mana card ideal for very low mana combats.
En la clase tierra mi carta favorita es Katrelba Gobson, actualmente la tengo en nivel 6 pero lo ideal sería llevarla a nivel 8 porque alcanza 5 de velocidad, mientras que la segunda carta en orden de prioridad es Cutter Brieze una carta rara de 1 de mana ideal para combates de muy bajo mana.
Progress with life class/Progreso con la clase vida
In the Life class we are almost ready to take Hugo Strongsword to level 6 but our interest is in the Ajax Lightfoot and Captain Katie cards, both are at level 5 but the goal is to take them to level 7, especially Ajax who learns the Phase ability which would increase his evasion rate significantly.
En la clase vida ya nos falta poco para llevar a Hugo Strongsword al nivel 6 pero nuestro interés esta en la carta Ajax Lightfoot y Captain Katie, ambas están en nivel 5 pero la meta es llevarlas a nivel 7 sobretodo Ajax que aprende la habilidad phase lo que elevaría su tasa de evasión significativamente.
Progress with the death class/Progreso con la clase muerte
Another important progress was made in the death class, the Witch of Warwick card at level 6 acquires the Affliction ability, an ideal tool to nullify the enemy's ability to heal and although Venari Boneflame is an excellent card that virtually does almost the same as this card, the Bloodlust ability is an ability that always makes the difference.
Otro importante progreso lo obtuvimos en la clase muerte, la carta Witch of Warwick en nivel 6 adquiere la habilidad Affliction una herramienta ideal para anular la capacidad de sanarse al enemigo y aunque Venari Boneflamees una excelente carta que virtualmente hace casi lo mismo que esta carta, la habilidad bloodlust es una habilidad que siempre hace la diferencia.
The other card that almost gave us another surprise is Katriphus Bayne, we are just one card away from taking it to level 6, its purpose is that of a tank but the tanks that are currently in the modern format have left this unit behind, however in battles with rulesets like Super Sneak or Mayhem Melee it can be a great offensive unit.
La otra carta que casi nos da otra sorpresa es Katriphus Bayne quedamos a solo una carta para llevarla a nivel 6, su propósito es la de un tanque pero los tanques que actualmente están en el formato moderno han dejado atrás a esta unidad, sin embargo en batallas con ruleset como super Sneak o Mayhem Melee puede ser una gran unidad ofensiva.
Well friends, that's all for this report, I would have liked to share the news of my epic natural plot but unfortunately the plot I was interested in was sold and now there is only one plot left for $53 and very far from where I have my common plot, so for now I will wait for another plot closer to my region to be offered. Bien amigos esto es todo en este reporte, me habría gustado compartirles la noticia de mi parcela natural épica pero lamentablemente la parcela que me interesaba se vendió y ahora solo queda una parcela de 53$ y muy alejada de donde tengo mi parcela comun, asi que por ahora esperaré a que oferten otra parcela más cerca de mi región.
