Saludos amigos de #hive y #NftGameLatino, hoy les comparto mi entrada a su concurso semanal de "HashKings weekly challenge share your art" donde está semana nos toca inspirarnos de Lieutenant O'Weed, un personaje que tiene dos cohetes que impactaron en su cabeza, también tiene partes gastadas de su rostro, y un hueco en la cabeza de donde se le puede ver parte del cerebro, además de un fondo que representa un campo de guerra. Personalmente este estilo sin duda me saca de mi zona de confort o estilo de dibujo, Lo que es genial, debido a que hace que uno ponga en práctica estos nuevos estilos, tanto en como detallar, como la forma y composición del personaje.

Greetings friends of hive and NftGameLatino, today I share with you my entry to your weekly contest "HashKings weekly challenge share your art" where this week we are inspired by Lieutenant O'Weed, a character that has two rockets that hit his head, also has worn parts of his face, and a hole in the head where you can see part of the brain, plus a background that represents a war field. Personally this style certainly takes me out of my comfort zone or drawing style, which is great, because it makes you put into practice these new styles, both in how to detail, as well as the shape and composition of the character.

Decidí hacer el diseño un poco más elaborado y que este estuviese fumando, para hacer juego con el humo que emanan los cohetes de su cabeza, también incorpore el fondo de la imagen principal como un tattoo en su hombro derecho (lo que siento que le da un toque más de personalidad), conservando ese estilo tipo cartoon. También realice la lengua cortada porque siento que va más a su estilo, como la perforación en la nariz. Realice trazos de tinta negra más pronunciados de lo usual, ya que así le da ese estilo comic, que va más con la escénica del personaje, además de aplicar color de forma más directa y buscándose tuviese ese toque bizarro que más va de la mano con su diseño.

I decided to make the design a little more elaborate and that he was smoking, to match the smoke emanating from the rockets in his head, I also incorporated the background of the main image as a tattoo on his right shoulder (which I feel gives him a touch more personality), keeping that cartoon style. I also did the tongue cut out because I feel it goes more with his style, as well as the nose piercing. I made black ink strokes more pronounced than usual, because it gives him that comic style, which goes more with the scenic of the character, besides applying color in a more direct way and looking for that bizarre touch that goes more hand in hand with his design.

Realice primero la base del dibujo con el lápiz digital, utilizando el color azul para la base y el color rosado para empezar a definir el dibujo, como vestimenta y facciones.

First I made the base of the drawing with the digital pencil, using the blue color for the base and the pink color to start defining the drawing, such as clothing and features.

Después realice el trabajo de línea, usando la tinta dura y el color negro, una vez terminado elimine las capas previas y realice la base de color usando el rellenador, aplicando los colores correspondientes a cada zona.

Then do the line work, using the hard ink and the black color, once finished remove the previous layers and make the color base using the filler, applying the corresponding colors to each area.

Detalle las áreas de la piel con el aerógrafo y con una base de oleo, después detalle el cabello, aplicando manchas y degradado con el aerógrafo.

Detail the skin areas with the airbrush and with an oil base, then detail the hair, applying stains and gradient with the airbrush.

Luego procedí con las lombrices, el hueco del cráneo donde se ve el cerebro, y la rasgadura en la mandíbula, luego detalle las zonas viscosas en el rostro y el cuello. Después detalle el tattoo y la camiseta.

Then I proceeded with the worms, the hollow of the skull where you can see the brain, and the tear in the jaw, then detail the viscous areas on the face and neck. Then detail the tattoo and the shirt.

finalice detallando los ojos y los cohetes, agregando después el humo que sale de los cohetes y del cigarrillo. También realice un fondo negro con luz verde y amarillo, conservando el color principal del personaje.

Finish by detailing the eyes and the rockets, then add the smoke coming out of the rockets and the cigarette. I also made a black background with green and yellow light, keeping the main color of the character.
