Coconut tree is one of the special tree, that almost everyone is in love with, only the leaves alone beautify the environment not to talk of the benefit, each part of the tree has it's uses.
Coconut is very important and easy to cultivate and can grow very fast within a matter of years without spending most and it will start to yield greatly.
This tree is very useful, almost every body benefits from it, each parts of the tree has use which includes broom are made from the leave which we used for swiping, oil is extracted from the nut popularly known as coconut oil
and can also be used in making coconut bread, coconut cake and coconut rice, also wine is extracted from the coconut tree.
I discover Most industries are seriously in need of the seed to use in producing of coir soap, oil and so many of them.
Brief History of the coconut
This coconut tree produce twice a year and has been in existence for over 15years, it has been planted close to borehole, so it has been getting water constantly, because of the fruit it do produced, it was cultivated for both commercial and home use, even though most people in Nigeria using it as a source of income which it has been paying seriously.
I was very happy when I dry the shell used it as firewood in a traditional way, the fire catches more than the firewood.
I saw were the leaves were used as roof for their resting hut, it really looks good I was not able to snap it because my battery is down, I was thinking the hut will be hot but to my greatest surprise, it was very very cool.
Conclusion
I want to engage into it fully as my source of income by getting more of the tree to cultivate which in few years to come, i will be smiling, because with the way our Economic is going we need to plan ahead for the future of our generation, there is a saying that says he who fail to plan, plan to fall.
